Re: Bath and the Whatever it's called now cup.

I was asking if we, the forum, were writing it off. Do we really want to make a real effort for win it or use it as an opportunity to play the fringe players. Whichever team goes out, I would be expecting them to be aiming for a win. Win but wouldn't risk any of the main group of prem players Basic...

Re: Sky v BT TV coverage

Agreed from me too. I get so irritated when SKY commentators continually talk over the ref when he is explaining the decision he is made or when he has talking to/warning players about their actions. I find myself yelling "shut up" at the TV which (I know) is embarrassing. At least most BT...

Re: Mike Ford heads Toulon!

Bath rumours he's off somewhere next season. He is unlikely to follow Dad to France, it would end his England career. Eddie Jones has been quite firm on the "no exiles in my team" rule. If neither Jonny Wilkinson or Stefan Armitage were good enough to invoke the "exceptional circumst...

Re: A real problem

The JB DeViliers signing is a another good example which did not exactly turn out to be the best thing since sliced bread. I am still waiting for JP Pietersen to light up the turf too.

Tait - not good enough? Oh yes he is ...

With reference to yesterday's game in particular and his performances in getting the team across the gain line time and time again in general, I rest my case. It is not his fault that he gets scragged when he has burst through defenders and has to hold on to the ball. His team mates need to back him...

Re: Tait...not good enough

I have been labouring that point for at least the last 18 months, unless a back player is exceptionally talented, once past the age of 30 they begin to lose speed and edge. In a central position it is that ability to straighten out play and gain huge amounts of ground that is vital to a winning tea...

Re: Congratulations to Cockers,Mauger,Tait and the whole squ

I will comment on the odd comparison of 12 pages of (mainly) drivel on the "Does Cockers get the sack if we get smashed this weekend" thread versus not even 12 answers to IC's post. Probably because Mr Partridge asked a provocative question which suggests answers are welcome whereas IC ma...

Re: Oh Yes - Good Pre-Match Entertainment

If you buy a fan radio (reflink to most of us) from the shop for £15 you get the referee on channel one and commentary on channel two. Why should I (or anybody else for that matter) have to pay £15 for something which ought to be broadcast in the stadium and is information which we ALL want? Have I...

Hartley to Captain Lions? Really?

O'Connell was certainly a terrific player in his time but possibly a few too many bumps to the head? He must be seeing something that I am obviously missing in this Saints sinner.

Re: Adam Thompstone

Absolutely 100% agreed. He has been a constant all round good guy for Tigers who simply gets the job done. Hope we do not see him head off to Sale or Exeter to join the other defectors.

Oh Yes - Good Pre-Match Entertainment

What a great idea to have a wonderful singer giving us World in Union before the game. More like this please Tigers and less droopy flag runners when a try is scored. What was that all about anyway? Would be delighted if the big boot challenge was scrapped too. Was really distressed to learn that Ro...

Re: Ford to Toulon

Must have been so difficult for Mourad Boudjellal - choosing between Lancaster and Ford! :smt003 Must be nice to have a failure leading the Toulon revival (if that is what it is). The fans must be over the moon (not!). I wish I had been as bad at my job as Ford has been (evidenced by Bath's immedia...

Ashton gets 13 week ban

13 week ban handed out to Ashton and he pled not guilty? Is that all? Should have been more given his history and obvious delusion.

Re: This Season's European Fixtures

All the European fixtures are here:

I would have thought they should have been added to the Tigers Fixture list by now, even if only to indicate which weekends they will be.
