Re: Today’s games
Confusing end to a drab game, I thought.

Re: Today’s games
Thought Curry's tackle was more dangerous than Hill's.

Re: Today’s games
Listening to some of the England and some of the Italian players singing their anthems badly in a cavernous, empty stadium was truly, terribly awful! Hope the match will be an improvement

Re: Today’s games
It's not a bad match just doesn't seem like a full-blooded Six Nations contest!

Re: Today’s games
I know we should have got used to seeing sport in empty stadia by now but watching Wales v Scotland in an empty Parc y Scarlets seems a particularly sterile and desolate experience.

Re: RFU Cancels all League's below Championship
I used to be involved in junior and youth rugby as player and then as organiser/referee etc and like you have worries about the long term damage to our sport if we, in effect, lose a season ( or potentially more). But the nature of rugby with scrummaging, tackling etc and, to be blunt, the inevitabl...

Re: RFU Cancels all League's below Championship
Sad but inevitable. To be honest I'm amazed that we have managed to play so much elite rugby.

Re: J J Williams
Bobby Ball (half of 80s comedy duo, Cannon and Ball) has also passed away. Both deaths were reported on Radio 4 News this morning but Bobby got top billing.. Not making any particular point but I do wonder sometimes how BBC news editors decide on their priorities and running order.

Re: Baa Baas game called off
According to a blow by blue account of the events this week in the Daily Telegraph, they all signed legally binding contracts to abide by the Covid protocols. Some of the players broke them twice: a pub visit on Tuesday evening (which was undiscovered at first) and the now well publicised visit to t...

Re: Baa Baas game called off
"Has anyone thought it might be deliberate". Don't understand this comment JG. What motive could they have? Why would these players want the match cancelled? They weren't compelled to play and - as I understand it - Barbarians are well remunerated and looked after nowadays. It was being te...

Re: Wonder kids
Agree with much of the above - the original article is clickbait journalism of course designed to draw us in and then padded out to wrap round loads of adverts. My irritable reaction is to read it ( because I'm interested) but strenuously avoid looking at the ads! However the basic premise of choosi...

"Ruck" has produced an item on 5 English rugby players of the last decade or so who never quite fulfilled their stellar early potential. 3 of the 5 played for Tigers. If you haven't read the article can you guess the identity of the three? All 5 were backs by the way.

Re: European finals 2020
Robespierre, I assume, has some association with France and so can understand his support for Racing against Exeter but for me it's England Vs France. If I were to support a "second" English club it would be Exeter as they seem to have achieved what Tigers should aspire to ( and once had)....
