Re: Dead rubber v Ulster

Completely agree that Ben Young’s is the weak link. Would swap him for Spencer , Robson or De Clerk all day long which would add a new dimension to our back line.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

Perhaps it would be sensible to wait and see which players are leaving and which players are joining before we crucify the club. Like everyone else I am very disappointed with the way things have gone over this past couple of seasons, but as a supporter I recognise that it is when things are not goi...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

Did anyone notice the little snippet on page 41 of the rugby times stating categorically that we have signed Calum Green ?

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

Although I tend to agree with most of your posts Ellis (being an optimist ) I do think that Ben Young’s is the weak link in our back line due to the time it takes him to get the ball away and the inaccuracy /speed of his pass.

Same reason he signed for Bath to bench behind Ford....
Exactly so why would he make the same mistake twice ?

Re: Gloucester 23

Disagree. I do not question Kay’s right to earn a living as a pundit just think that it is a conflict of interests with his place on the board

Re: Matt Papali’i

Does anyone else feel that Toomua has done a Tim Stimpson and mentally vacated playing for Tigers a few months early? Considering he is our marquee player and on big money, you would hope he would be at the forefront of trying to get us back to our winning ways. He has the ability to drag us kickin...

Re: Gloucester 23

Agreed that Kay should NOT be on the Board and a pundit. There is no way on heavens earth he can criticize his fellow board members whilst Healey basically says the tommy opposite thereby giving the game away. Nobody should commentate or provide punditry when they use "we" instead of the ...

In my opinion based on his column in the Leicester Mercury Ian Cockerill has become very negative which is why, along with the lack of searching questions, I have stopped listening to the Rugby Hour on radio leicester

Yes but it is common knowledge for those who do their homework that Genge and Holmes are contracted for next season at least
