Feel sorry for us anyway. We are staying at an old friends and for a 'treat' she has arranged to go to a ceilidh in Gateshead Old Town Hall tonight. Nothing I like more.....not. Hello ajs37 shouldn't you be trying to get Briss back up - or have you/they given up on that?

Re: New users! Say hello, introduce yourself here.(new thread)
I've posted a few things in recent days but never introduced myself. I've been a tiger since 1963 when a certain Herbert Victor White brought myself and a number of other boys from his PE class to Welford Road. The message was, support Tigers or do extra PE :smt002 so I have done so ever since even ...

Re: Recreational Drugs
I think, as I said earlier, Tiger Alex that the player (no mention of other employees - are they not included?) should have help and counselling. The article also mentioned that this was part of a strategy to deal with alcohol abuse as well and I strongly support that. I do worry that in the profess...

Re: Recreational Drugs
Why is rugby poking its nose into the lives of its players anyway. There are plenty of offences that everyday people commit. Speeding, tax evasion, putting the wrong stuff in wheelie bins, shoplifting, being drunk and disorderly on a night out....... As I've said, I've never taken recreational drug...

Re: Recreational Drugs
You’re entire comment is based around the assumption that because Stevens took drugs he was obviously driving around high. Of course driving under the influence of any substance is very wrong, and illegal, but Stevens was never convicted or even accused of this. Moving away from random assumptions,...

Re: Referees and their language skills
Phil B, I do think you raise an important point. With the World Cup likely to contain Japan, Argentina, and some Eastern European countries the issue is bigger than Europe where many Italians and French do speak English. The referee's signs should be universally understood but that does not address ...

Re: Tonight's Match!!
Now the, now then, calm down boys. We don't have to face any club/province until we're back in the Heineken next year. And so long as they obey the rule that we get first dibs on any Irishman called Murphy we'll be OK

Re: Recreational Drugs
I don't like it. It smacks of cover up in a cosy club. Report it. It is still a criminal offence. Small usage will be dealt with by a caution but it will be a sobering experience. If low-level usage is tolerated what are the odds it will not become more frequent and more general until a few years do...

Good luck Mr Bean. I have a soft spot for Bedford being at college there 1970/73 and having a trial for the club (Which I failed miserably, obviously)
