It's a shame Russell Brand has messed up so badly, cos he'd be a fabulous Doctor.

Just imagine the Daleks threatening to take over the world and Brand responding with 'Oooh, exciting!'

Of course, as the Doctor, he could go back in time and agree, with Mr Ross, to leave the telephone alone!

I love a certain type of chilled electronica - Tosca, Thievery Corporation, Nightmares on Wax, that type of thing.

Mr Scruff's great too. His album 'Trouser Jazz' should be valued, just for having a great title!

Just finished reading 'Bad Luck and Trouble' by Lee Child, one of the series of Jack Reacher novels. You have to totally suspend disbelief and go with the flow, but they're great when you want to switch off brain and be swept along with a good thriller. Recently read 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' by...

OK, so the Goode story finally makes it to the website. BUT, given that he's played for Leicester for about 400 years and the club must, therefore, have squillions of photos of him - why have they accompanied the insultingly short article with a bizarre picture of a tiny Andy sandwiched between two ...

I cannot believe it is not on the club website.

This is an insult to fans and to Andy Goode himself.
We all deserve better - the club website should be the place we can rely on to keep us informed. How must Andy feel, when after years of service, his club won't even acknowledge his departure?

I'm glad we've got somebody already at the top of the coaching tree. We are Leicester, one of the top clubs in world rugby. A proven track record as a coach should be a pre-requisite to coach this proud club. Well done to the board. They've taken a lot of stick, probably desrvedly so, but appear to ...

All the very best to both of them. Trying to secure a return to the premiership for Leeds will be a serious challenge and they will undoubtedly relish it. Whatever happened with Backy and Marcelo, I hope Neil makes a terrific success of his coaching career. I wish a few more of the 2003 RWC winning ...

Tigers have a lot of good lineout options. I certainly hope Croft does not see himself as exclusively a back-rower. No mention of Richard Blaze yet. I hope he gets some decent game time next season. We need to see his potential being developed, especially with Kay in the twilight years (sorry Ben!)....

Pearson to City

So the Foxes have gone for Nigel Pearson. Not the most exciting appointment ever, BUT.... ...in a recent interview, Milan Mandaric was discussing the managerial lunacy at LCFC. He said he we desperately disappointed to lose Gary Megson 'because he was a genuine football man.' Seems to me Pearson fit...

Our first one was a week late. We ended up two days away from being induced, which Mrs Gonzo was desperate to avoid. So, the curries got hotter and hotter and the evening walk progressively longer. I needed the walks to burn off the calories from the non-stop curry eating! Mrs Gonzo is not the most ...

Pretty sobering thought- an England XV will run out to play the ABs without a single Tiger. Ouch!

When I said 40 points, I meant 40 points in the first half.

We'll really take 'em to the cleaners in the second half!!
