Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

As an aside, thanks to everyone for the kind words - it’s really appreciated.

We’ll keep trying to strong arm some good names onto the pod and update the thread to let you know when it happens!

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

I’ll repeat my removed post, it is obviously just me, and as They have stated they will only post to update on new programmes, I will know im not missing any earth shattering news. Funny how Pollard and Montoya are mentioned but not Moroni and MVS You’re really quite unpleasant aren’t you. This is ...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

Don’t see what the problem is. The minimal publication we do for the podcast allows anyone interested another medium to listen to game discussion, breaking news/rumour (we were the first to confirm Pollard signing and Montoya re-signing) and listen to what special guests (usually current or former ...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

Don’t want to seem like a killjoy, but am I the only one who is uncomfortable with this forum being used to to publicise a pod cast for free. I’m sure Mr. Cooper has other avenues he could use. We make no money whatsoever from this podcast. It costs us money which is not fully covered by sponsorshi...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

Morning all, extra special guest this week as we’re joined by Telusa Veainu , one of the best attacking players we’ve ever had at Welford Road and genuinely one of the nicest and most humble guys I’ve ever spoken to. Given the circumstances of his departure, he regrets never being able to say goodby...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

In our latest episode, Elliott and I are joined by one of our favourite players to watch when we first starting supporting Tigers, Leon Lloyd . They say don’t meet your heroes - that’s rubbish. He is a seriously impressive guy even in rugby retirement and it was great hearing about his emergence amo...

Re: Tigers v Exeter (Away) - 10th September 2022 - 3-00pm

From what I read the DCMS will not be issuing formal guidance to postpone fixtures but will leave it to the individual sports to decide what’s right. I cannot personally see Prem Rugby cancelling fixtures given the precarious situation clubs find themselves in, so I’d expect the weekend fixtures - a...

The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen

Morning all If you haven’t heard of the Rolling Maul podcast, we’re a Tigers’ fans podcast hosted by myself and AViewFromLE2 (aka Elliot) - we had a great first season, pretty well timed too, and are hoping to go even better this year. We don’t want to clog up threads with plugs for the podcast so w...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

Some points on the Steward “story”… Freddie, JVP etc were signed up by Geordie on long term junior player deals. They were good deals for young players - they are very low for full internationals and first teamers. Smart move by Geordie. Those contracts expire in 23, and have one year extension opti...

Heyes didn’t have any difficulties against Marler. All penalties were conceded on FVW side, the camera for some reason just kept doing Heyesy over and filming him. It was pretty even between them.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Aled Walters and the Philosopher's Stone

Morning all. A rare plug for the podcast, the Rolling Maul, this morning - we’ve got some news on Reffell, Moroni, MVS and the Emperor himself, Montoya. Something to brighten up mornings hopefully! https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-rolling-maul/id1583870237?i=1000558673359 How much of this ...

Re: Time to Sing

Hi all Been on this forum a long time, but more latterly better known as Mike from the Rolling Maul podcast. We’ll be promoting this the day before and the day of the game. Like all of you I’ve been a fan for a long time (I’ll concede experience to some!!) but this is genuinely the best chance we’ve...
