Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Centres have become an issue again really. Kata at 12 is the best back we have, also been signing of the season for me. BUT leaves 13 as a issue, Kelly pre England call up was playing amazingly at 12. But he isn't a 13 that can handle quick backs against Sarries who have a bit more direct backs he ...

The pack doesn't need skills, it just needs to get over the gameline for me. I'd argue we look as mediocre as we do because we don't prioritise forward skills. A sidestep, a dummy, an offload, keeping the ball off the floor are all ways of breaking the gainline, and are all employed by the best for...

Personally I want to see Porter back in the 23, but I'm probably picking a broadly similar team to you... IDK if he's fit or not. McKellar saying he's back in full contact training so he should have completed concussion protocols now That would be handy I would def have him at the 23 and plan on pu...

Problem for me is I hoped he would be Watson's backup, reality has been he's our starting winger

Cole said on the podcast I think he's having his week off Have edited cause forgot England players need a break so this one is prob a good one to give some Personally I want to see Porter back in the 23, but I'm probably picking a broadly similar team to you... IDK if he's fit or not.

If we are gonna give time on the wing might as well put Kata or Porter if they are fit there Leinster have a pack of pretty big boys, McCarthy has been a key for them this season They have also just signed RG Snyman who isn't a minnow. They also have in Porter, Sheenan and Furlong a front that has p...

The pack doesn't need skills, it just needs to get over the gameline for me. Martin is going to become extremely important for us because outside of Wiese he's the only forward with true fire power. Big players make yards regardless of the conditions or who you play. Also I mean Cokanasiga is decent...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I don't think Weise can be criticised for his performance tonight. Gloucester clearly targeted him and closed him down early. But that's the point on replacing him. It's means nothing to replace him if you don't have a gameplan that works without him. It's why i'm not fussed about replacing him lik...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

It’s crazy isn’t it.. win and we would have been up to 2nd albeit with games to be played still this weekend.. lose and its season over? Depending on results we are still in the mix for top 4 although it’ll be tough now that’s for sure.. The problem is it's a home win v a low ranking team. We now h...

Hmm we are playing for top 6 now.
Honestly not sure champions cup rugby would be great for us either next season.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Tigers reverting to the post-Cockers, pre-Borthwick era. Clueless in attack. Close quarters defense good but in the loose, poor. Aimless kicking with little or no kick chase?! The attack coach needs to be sorted, it's all well and good the club getting behind Matt Smith, but anyone with half a rugb...

Nicky Smith destroyed Munster in the scrum until he was injured. We need a better back up 10, stick Shillcock at 15 more. Cokanasiga ain't it i'm sorry he looks good for us in the prem cup but has yet to bring that form to the prem level. We need a proper beefy back up to Martin. Wells is fading IMO...
