Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution

Why on earth would the English and French want to go to mediation, they have told the IRFU/ERC want is required. What is the point of them making this stance, then giving it up in negotiations. They are on the verge of wrestling control of European rugby from the IRFU, for the clubs to run the comp...

No AA in the 23, that's a surprise...let's hope it is on rotation not another DIY accident!!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/club/10319195/Anglo-French-breakaway-project-suffers-devastating-blow-after-international-rugby-board-voices-disapproval.html See the above article which clearly states that IRB will not sanction the new tournament and without their blessing the English an...

Re: Manu

It was perhaps not a great idea by Manu but hardly warrants the incredible amount of column inches in the press!!

My 3 teenage boys think he's a legend because of this, although they were fans anyway!!

Let's hope he has a great season for Tigers and England.

Re: Wonderful BT coverage

It was ok for me as I watched a local game of rugby and then the recording of the match, thus i was able to skip through all the rubbish!

Re: Marland Yarde

He has massive potential (better than Wade I think), we should definitely be in for him.

Wings of Banjamin, Yarde, Thompstone, Goneva plus full backs of Morris/Tait would be fantastic.

Re: Brian Moore again

Well according to Moore, who should know, West is passing his hooking knowledge onto Hartley so presumably yes he is hooking.

Brian Moore again

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/club/10311087/Northampton-Saints-and-Bath-showing-early-signs-of-mounting-challenge-for-Aviva-Premiership.html Another interesting article....you have to say he is certainly readable, even if we may not always agree with him! Here he is essentialy saying t...

Re: Toby off to France? (Maybe)

I really hope Toby stays, I am a big fan!! He's also now our Club Captain...

If he does go he will always be a Tigers great, if not perhaps legend....Toby you need to stay another 3 years for that and win a European Cup!!!! :smt003

Re: Cockers to Clermont denied

I have long suggested that if Cockers went, he would go to Clermont. He however is a fiercely loyal man as he has demonstrated and I don't think he would walk away, unless it was clear the board were considering others. Anyone hoping for the return of MOC, I personally hope not. Not only was his mo...

Re: Daniel James

Thanks tig1 very moving.

I am a big fan of Moore (warts and all), essentially he's honest and will put his hand up if he is shown to be wrong.

His autobiography is an excellent read.

Re: Team v Bath

What is wrong with everybody does anyone know?!

I didn't realise Kitchener was also injured - when is he back?

Still a good side, we definitely should have parity in the backs if Lamb has his game head on.

If the forwards can win us enough front foot ball, we are in with a shout...

Re: Cockerill unimpressed with new scrum laws

I couldn't agree more biffer. Moore's article is excellent. RC is plainly wrong and has an "agenda". What he seems to forget is that the vast majority of rugby fans are completely fed up with the constant scrum re-sets and with the lottery that the scrum has become. We essentially pay RC's...

Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly

Fingers crossed for Floody, really hope he will be ok and if he was properly concussed we definitely should not risk him next week.

I thought the "forgotten man" TTTE looked really keen yesterday - there's a man with a point to prove me thinks.
