Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
If we had Manu, JPP, Veainu and possibly Toomua if Cheika tweaks the rules, away during the AIs then we look very very light. Surely needs to be another decent utility 11/13/15 sort of player signed? Suppose it depends on when the LV cup games are on as it could mean we get JPP or Veainu for a coup...

Re: Champions Cup draw - 2016-2017
“We want to be the best team in the world and we will now win the series 3-0,” said Jones, who is still unbeaten after eight matches in charge. “If the All Blacks were in this situation now, what would they be thinking? They’d be thinking 3-0. If we want to be the best team in the world, we have to ...

Cockers covering his ass already - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/36673170 Just imagine Eddie Jones saying that. Before the recent tour Jones said: "Australia are ranked second in the world, they've got the best coach in the world and they're playing in their own backyard so they are g...

Re: Will Evans
Finally had a chance to watch the England 20s final. Wow, what a performance. The rugby and skill on show was outstanding and something that could finally match the All Blacks. Will Evans was unbelievably good - genuine starter next year, I think maybe move O'Connor to 6 to get him in. Harry Mallind...

Bench will get on a lot earlier this week I reckon.
Harrison will be a fresh nuisance and all of the bench will be desperate for game time.

Cruden been :censored: poor, Jantjes is a non-entity. Foley was unbelievable during the World Cup.
And yes George North, the player Steve Hansen said "thank god we won't have to tackle him in 2nd and 3rd tests"

Re: Manu Tuilagi
Owen Farrell will not become a world class player. He doesn't have the right attack minded brain to ever become world class. He kicks his goals and that's about it. Roly, I don't expect you think anyone is world class with your negative outlook on life. Ah, so can you also provide me with next week...

Re: Manu Tuilagi
I really don't know how anyone can say that Manu is a "world class" player. Excellent/superb club player - yes. Good international player - yes but world class No! If you were selecting 4 teams from anywhere on earth to represent this world against teams from the rest of the solar system ...

Re: Aus v England,2nd Test - Goldwash time ??
I think Australia really rode their luck in Rugby World Cup. Everything they needed went their way in terms of players staying fit, resurgence of Giteau, quarter final vs Scotland, scrum clicked for first time in donkeys years. I predict a period of Aus falling down the pecking order for next couple...

Re: England Lineouts v Aus
Tom Youngs has undoubtedly slipped down the pecking order, and has ground to make up on Hartley and George. (I'm yet to be convinced by Cowan-Dickie). However, imo, it is too soon to call the end of his international career. As Ourla says, let's see how he comes back next season. Blobby has never b...

Re: England Lineouts v Aus
Whether we like it or not Jones has been fully vindicated in his decision to make Hartley first choice hooker and captain. That does not make Tom Youngs a poor player or mean he has no England future. Hartley has quite rightly IMO taken a lot of criticism in the past but so far under Jones he has b...
