Re: Is it now time to thank Cockers?

I think the lunatics have taken over the madhouse ! We are in a situation where every away game against a top 4 side is a guaranteed heavy loss , our overall play year on year seems to get worse and worse , our England representation gets smaller and smaller - we are really in poor shape as a Club ...

Re: Is it now time to thank Simon Cohen?

Do people think thanks are due? Anyone who has read my comments regarding Richard Cockerill over the years will know I had serious doubts/misgivings on his credentials as a DOR, however if they had also read between the lines they would know I have never doubted his commitment to Leicester Tigers, s...

Re: Is it now time to thank Cockers?

If Cockerill and Mauger really can't work together, why hasn't Mauger left? Obviously we are going to play the way the DOR chooses. If Mauger doesn't like that, he knows where the door is. What a wonderful business model you really have. If the employees don't like it go, if the customers don't lik...

Re: Is it now time to thank Cockers?

Why Cockers - he is the DOR. Mauger is the Head Coach and his appointment Hansen proved to be inappropriate. Both have introduced complex and untested playing styles, and have failed. Hansen went and IMO so should Mauger. Unless EITHER a Tigers player is appointed as DOR or Head Coach, then Cockers...

Re: Is it now time to thank Cockers?

The root of my problem right now is that some users come on here every time we get beaten (and have done for a decade) wanting to sack Loffreda/Meyer/Cockers with ABSOLUTELY no idea about what would then occur, or indeed any idea about sport in general. And you are poor fans, make no bones about it...

Re: The Local Derby v Saints!

.....Nor have I been so embarrassed when a group of your so called fans spent the entire match shouting and singing vile comments littered with four letter words and unbelievably the C word. Poor in itself but when my wife is stood immediately next to them just disgusting. We shouldn't have been su...

Re: Does Cockers get the boot if we get smashed again this w

Read what I have put! I'll say it again in the hope you understand! EVERY CLUB does EXACTLY as Tigers did and with the same time frames etc. Fair enough if you think it's bad management but that means that it's bad management by EVERY Director of Rugby/Head Coach. And my final point. From the above...

Re: Does Cockers get the boot if we get smashed again this w

Ourla, I'm just telling you the process and that everyone follows it. Oh your just telling us are you? On what basis should we accept your opinion as fact? Are you in personal contact with, and familiar with the inner workings of each of the clubs in the premiership. Do you hold a position of which...

4071 & Ourla - Allelujah.

Well done both. Thank you for your time, effort and insight.

Thought provoking, well reasoned posts always an excellent read, and above all always with the best interests of Leicester Tigers at heart.

Love it :smt023

Re: Leicester Tigers - Arsenal of rugby

Nice to be named by Crumblies. See you at the match so we can discuss facts and fandom, since you misrepresent me wilfully. You are going, aren't you? :smt004 Of course I'm going, I always go if I can, home & away. I was in Glasgow last week were you? Pity if you weren't, you missed all the int...

Deary me! I'm am telling you that things are not straight forward. You say they are but I'm telling you that they are not. I can not say it more plainly than that. If you don't understand then there's no more I can do! Come on SIBARITE get with this forum!! If Ellis9 or JGriffin tell you it is fact...

Re: Happy clappers confession thread

You never stop, do you, Smudge. One long 'Cockers out' rant regardless, even perpetuating the 'shouty' stereotype. :smt009 Do you realise that this continuous diatribe devalues the good stuff you post? And neither do you JGriffin, your unswerving, devoted, beyond criticism support of Cockerill, whi...

Re: H Cup Final Tigers v SF May 19th 2001 - Where are they n

We often argue long & hard which was our second favourite trip & game. Thomond park pool match, 2002 final, Cardiff semi etc. But there is never an argument about the number one favourite. A magical weekend. Fabulous game, glorious sunshine, Paris in spring, the players joining us at the pub...
