Not seen Ireland dominated like this in quite a while.
Not seen NZ play like this in potentially even longer.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
Nice second try for Wales, then 10-15 minutes off utter dross, and then massive power game for the rolling maul try
Flashes of quality in there.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
Hard to like him, but he's having a stormer tonight.
They were talking about Aki doing well but he's not been a patch on Lowe IMO. Several steals and penalties won, couple of big hits including lifting Etzebet.

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
How many cynical Wales penalties, just got to a warning... 1 penalty in the wrong area straight to yellow for Fiji Very harsh officiating! Come on, week in week out we see endless penalties for offside when defending near the try line before there’s a card. The difference here was there was a dynam...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
OK, I understand the "Why" but an accidental clash of heads carrying a higher tariff than an assault on a fly half means the laws are daft. Mallia, the Argentinian full back, got banned for something similar against SA despite successfully making the charge down. How this was a yellow I'l...

Re: Semi final v Saints - 11th June 2022 KO 4-30pm
It does seem to be part of Oz's job to look for things that might have missed by the other commentators and/or the officials. For example he knew which was the best angle to see Skosan's knock on, practically before any replay was shown on TV or to the officials. I always thought he was an exceptio...

Re: Steve Borthwick and red cards
As mentioned earlier in the thread, change the stupid maul law. The attacking team gets the scrum if it becomes unplayable. Maybe go as far to say the ball cannot be ripped in the tackle. See the change almost immediately. The way to sort this out (as with many of the game’s problems) is to apply t...

With Watson and Steward we would have a great kick chase game. Can see a lot of up and unders that we reclaim

Re: 6 Nations 2022
Don't understand why everyone is naysaying Steward on the wing - whilst he's a fantastic fullback the tactic of having him be the lead chaser against their fullback was just about the only thing Eddie got right yesterday, it was the only attacking platform we had! Unfortunately England didn't have a...

Fullback on the wing to lead the kick chase and expose their fullback. Following Wales' tactics from last weekTigerReggie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 19, 2022 8:32 pm England selection feels off again. Furbank useless so far. Best fullback on the wing. Youngs too slow. Now Daly. Meh. Thanks Jones.
