When is obstruction penalised? Answer - never!

Watching Glaws-Quins, Quins have been obstructing all game. They habitually have a man or two taking out defenders off the ball and beyond the offside, and the next move goes through the gap. Kohn has done a few and finally the commentators actually commented on it. The other trick is when a tackle ...

Re: London Welsh to be relegated?

Of course MPs sticking their nose in has no precedent, has it Manu? MPs have the right to raise any issue under Commons privilege, and long shall it be so. Doesn't mean he's right, but he has the right to do so and if correct in his legal standing, have it investigated. If incorrect it'll not bother...

Re: Refs for summer internationals

It will depend on what norms are established between them as a reffing team - will it drag Poite down or Joubert up? My guess is the latter.

Re: Tigers v the Sinners (Northampton Saints)

Although there is no Ashton/Alex clash to set things off this time, I would not be surprised to see the two hookers taking lumps out of each other at some point ! I just hope the ref does not decide the result for us :smt009
Ashton / Alex??? Do you mean Manu?
Didn't Ashton pull Alex'...

Not fair-nobody is as bad as Kaplan, not even me.

Probably a good idea, leading to consistency.

Still angry at the Welsh stamp that gave him the injury and then Tigers playing him with it.

Re: Leicesters backs ???

Tait,Thompstone and Morris could become a great back three and we still have yet to see Benjamin , so I would say that is not where we are lacking in potential. Dan Bowden could yet show more promise as he looked a class act when we signed him.Goneva seems to be one that has fallen off the radar an...

Re: Tigers v the Sinners (Northampton Saints)

Things is, although we all critise the officials, without them we have no game. The problem is that Barnes tends to run away from handbags or send the wrong person off or any random Tuilagi on the park :smt005 whereas other refs treat it sensibly. If there is going to be handbags - it's in these mat...

Re: Injury News

I wonder whether Slater is best suited to playing at 6 though, he has the pace, strength and he gets through a lot of work there. I think he would make an excellent number 8. He has the physique, good hands and carries well. Bob I've been saying that Slater could be a great 8 in the Parisse mould f...

Clancy has got better reffing us. I'm just scared he'll pull a muscle and Fitzgibbon stand in. The worst ref ever.

Re: Next Years Season Tickets

:smt049 I'd just like to observe that although I live locally, it is not easy to re-arrange plans at short notice, as a carer for my disabled father I can't just drop plans and go to a different kick-off time game as it would leave him without assistance. I don't have a ST any more because most of w...
