Re: Hartley AGAIN

Quite simply, Hartley is a liability and continues to not learn from his previous experiences. How many chances should he be given? Have a read of this from 15 months ago. Hartley says a lot of things but, in the end, he reverts to type and the thug reappears.

Re: Hartley - I can't be the only one?

There's something else I've noticed about Hartley. When he's just about to throw in at a line-out, more often than not he takes a step towards his side after the TJ has positioned him. Is this legit?

I never realised the club was intending to replace Manu Tuilagi.

Re: uncontested scrums v Saints

Sadly I called their play before it happened. They replaced their first tighthead after he was twice pinged for boring in on the newly-arrived Marcos and they were given a final warning. The new guy was immediately yellow carded for the same offence and, as the original tighthead was returning, I sa...

Re: Tigers v Saints

If I were the coach of Sarries or the chiefs I would have lodged a complaint with the stuffed shirts at the RFU that Saints are not putting out their strongest available Team and indeed seem to be resting players for next week's semi-final. What's your problem with this? Since the 23 named players ...

Re: Biarritz & Bayonne to merge into one Basque club

Changing the subject slightly, in March Bernard Laporte was saying the Top 14 should be cut to 12 teams in order to free up more time for the national (i.e. French) players to prepare.

This re-proposed merger could help that situation. Read all about it

The merger between Bayonne and Biarritz concerns two rugby clubs, but also two municipalities stakeholders of both clubs. Veunac Michel, the mayor of Biarritz, and Jean-René Etchegaray, the mayor of Ba...
