Re: The Bloke Behind Me
I haven't been to a game for a while but last time I did, along from me were 4 lads who spent the entire game playing with their phones, and our row was full of a bunch of day trippers from the weak bladder society. I felt in the minority actually being interested in the game. Coming up on 29th Dec ...

Lewis Moody's Greatest Challenge
Don't know if everyone is aware that Lewis is doing a slightly insane (what else?) trip across the freezing Yukon in February, 300 miles in 8 days, for HOPE HIV. Great cause so if you can, sponsor him please. It sounds horrendous!

Re: Samhain 2012
I got some really great quality sweets in in case, but being in a village, no little pumpkins came round. No little pumpkins ever come round. I love halloween, same every year, eating a dark choccy bounty as I type.

Oooh that would drive me apoplectic. I daren't get one of those. I'd be on my porch with a shotgun every night! Wildlife I can just about handle, thoughtless people's pets is quite another thing

Re: Lost your plot?
Mr CT has just invented a rather brilliant courgette and parmesan soup. Want the recipe? Had it twice this week, but very yum. Courgettes, tomatoes and chillies are the only things we have in abundance. One apple tree has done well. The pear trees were rubbish. Rasps are OK, but not as good as last ...

Lost your plot?
I don't think we have had our exciting annual vegetable updates, have we? Well I have to report an alarming appearance of a cabbage eating bunny to add to my pheasant woes, so I'll have bu©©er all for winter. But courgettes and tomatoes are coming out of my ears. Beans were rubbish - never got hot e...

How exciting! My favourite ever funny shop sign was in a camping shop window saying "Now is the winter of our discount tents" He must have been a Richard III fan.

Re: Sportsmen Crying?
I am not surprised that sportsmen and women shed a tear at the end of a tense contest if they have lost - or won for that matter. It is an emotional moment you have hopefully put you heart and soul into. What annoys me are the people with the mikes trying to MAKE them get emotional so they have tear...

Re: Floods?
Considering we have had non stop rain for weeks, it is surprisingly OK here beside the Tamar. My village has 3 rivers flowing through it, but they seem to be doing their job and coping with the run off.

Re: new kit blog from Canterbury
Oh my word! Like the tiger stripes. Hate the bib. Not going to be a hit for the larger breasted woman - or man! Here they are, right here under this little caterpillar. Can you see them? Can you flipping avoid them? Awful. I had a Phillips 2000. Best quality, but only 3 of us had one.
