Then they can show those kicks on the clubhouse screen and the kicks taken in the direction of the clubhouse can be shown on the Goldsmiths screen

Re: Toulon

I did have a look when the dates were confirmed but, I confess, I haven't tried too hard recently to find out whether the match will be played in Toulon or if they are going to move it to one of the nearby larger stadiums as they have done in the past.

Has anyone here heard where we will be playing?

Re: World Cup 2015: reality check

If we play at our very best England could possibly make the final, but I think it would require the all blacks to have a serious off day. Can anyone else suggest an eventual winner other than New Zealand? You assume that The ABs will get though to the final! For my part I will assume that they will...

Unlikely, as it can be distracting to kickers.
Surely the screen in the corner it won't distract the kickers?

Re: Matera

I have no idea what the protocols are but could we, the Tigers that is, insist that he does his rehab with the club rather than in Argentina?

Re: Doncaster Game Cancelled? No Double Header?

It was confirmed as cancelled on the forum on 18th August , under topic Pre season fixtures. Unfortunately, this forum, whilst quite entertaining, isn't an official information channel for the club! The messages posted here are often based on conjecture, opinion and, more than occasionally, some su...

Re: Another Premiership/RFU Fiasco!

I'm pretty sure that money is the prime motivator for this current spat but, for me, the bigger issue is that both the IRB and the RFU should have been talking to the businesses and owners of the Premiership clubs, via the PRL, long before any agreements were made. The RFU must realise that rugby is...

Re: Another Premiership/RFU Fiasco!

If they have to shoehorn the games in to midweek fixtures to get the season finished on time (no extensions will be allowed due to player welfare agreements), then there will be a drop in revenue for the clubs. If midweek fixtures were to be introduced then BT would be unlikely to want to pay as muc...

Re: Women's World cup on TV?

Taped the match, and just started to watch it. Commentator begins with - “This is a World Cup that has propelled the Women’s game into a different rugby stratosphere. A chance to be part of rugby history. Will it be England or Canada who book their place in Rugby immortality”. :smt015 Time to mute ...

Re: Women's World cup on TV?

I don't think it would come down to "lumps of cash". However, with no disrespect to Litchfield, could they even come close to the facilities and coaching that the Tigers could provide? Listening to the podcast of the Rugby Hour yesterday, there were a few comments about the England Hooker ...

Re: The Champions Cup - Fixtures announced (Updated)

The previous version, the European Challenge Cup, was also frustratingly short on TV coverage. I guess it just didnt generate enough interest from Ireland, Wales, Scotland & Italy to entice the advertising revenue.

Re: New Home shirt

I'm pretty ambivalent with this new shirt, however, I think 'Grumpy of Crumbie' (page 2 of this thread) has a very good idea. Involve people from the Leicester community and the supporters - who knows, given that consensus, shirt sales may get even higher!
