We’re running the “Import XV” on the podcast and have just done the front row and - surprise surprise - it was exactly this!

Unbelievable all-Argentine beef there.

Re: Sam Harrison on the Rolling Maul Podcast

Its 2 hours long! What time does Shazam come on? Oh and potty mouth as well.... It does come with a bad language warning! Apologies if that’s not to your taste. Shazam is on about 10 minutes in, for about an hour and 10, because he kindly joins us in reviewing the Gloucester game too. This one is a...

Sam Harrison on the Rolling Maul Podcast

Evening all Elliot and I try not to bombard the forum with links to the podcast but, throwing away any sense of modesty, our last episode was one of our favourites to record and it felt too good not to share. All the usual nonsense like reviewing the Gloucester win, looking ahead to the game at Sarr...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

TBF I didn't know Iceman is (Elliot? or Mike) or asking for any sources to be named or remotely revealed. My point is more from experience I've been told plenty of times (Especially previous regimes) oh yeh we are talking 100% talking to such and such only to hear from someone close to said player ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

The difference between what Ragingbull has posted and the post being referred to as fact, is that RB has posted what may be happening and has not stated it as fact. Nobody is asking for sources to be revealed but if you are stating it as a fact it needs to be followed up with some confirmation, eve...

Do wish we would announce some contracts
It IS a fact that we've been talking to him. Whether or not he would sign for us or not is a completely different question however and very much up in the air.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

It does seem that more and more often someone on here suggests a player that would be great to sign as a replacement e.g. Marler, there's a bit of chat about it on the thread and suddenly there's articles and websites reporting the rumour. 99.9% of the time they are rubbish. It’s not been rubbish a...

Certainly looks that way annoyingly. The reference to a helicopter in the video makes it likely to be him. It was always going to be an uphill battle to get him here, but by all accounts we made a good fist of it!

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Rolling Maul Podcast suggesting Tigers are in "advanced talks" with both Marler and Radwan. Hard to tell credibility as with all rumours, but I seem to recall the Rolling Maul Podcast getting Pollard's signing right...?!?!? We can only hope!! “Advanced talks” with Marler “Initial talks” w...

Re: BRISTOL (A) - 26th December 2021 - 2-00pm

I think Genge will be, and has to be, captain for this one, and he'll be out to prove a point. A solid bet for man of the match in my opinion. Bristol will have looked at how Connacht caused us problems and will look to replicate it and they are capable of doing so if they finally click, but they'r...

Re: Round 3 - Saracens (H) - Saturday 02nd October 2021

We were lucky enough to have Martin Crowson (former Mercury Tigers correspondent) on the Rolling Maul last night to pull apart the Saracens game: he knows a thing or two about watching a team “win ugly” having seen several Tigers’ sides effectively copyright that mantra. We also break a transfer exc...

Re: Saracens visit

I think the reality is that the kicking game will be absolutely critical on Saturday and so, if Youngs is fit, he starts, with JVP on the bench. Other than that I can see Green coming back in for Snyman because of his expertise, and hopefully Nephi on the bench too to offer some explosivity. Sarries...

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945

I couldn't see a thread for this yet You mean apart from the one started 10 minutes earlier :smt002 :smt003 I expect to see some changes. No idea who though. What I hope to see is no change in the performance. And Gloucester aren't all that right now I would say so expecting a W. It wasn't there wh...
