Re: Never thought I'd say it. Rugby Union is boring these days

White line glory? Too many players thinking they can do it all by themselves? Or laws which now allow defences too much time to slow the ball down and re-organise? And regarding open play, how many times have tv pundits said players should "look up and play what's in front of you"? John Be...

Typical comment from Grauniad reader. :smt023 How very dare you! :smt002 I read various newspapers (the online versions usually) but generally the Telegraph or the Times. When I used to read the Torygraph, it was also know...

Re: Curmudgeoness Abounds. Christmas Addition.

I arrived at work on Tuesday night (1st Dec) to find that the day staff had decorated the office and put up the Christmas tree and lights. Every monitor bar one had tinsel artfully draped over them. I twisted my ankle damaging the ligaments in it back in Feb 2008. The LRI patched me up and sent me on my way (the triage nurse thought I'd broken it as they removed my hiking boot since it was holding my ankle in position and it was then free to twist around so much I could see the sole of my foot ...

Master we bow to thee!!! I work for a parcel company and we've been delivering the Christmas stuff -especially cards - into various shops since June (ie before the schools broke up for the summer holidays....)

And I've still not got around to putting the sprouts on to boil - how many reminders has Sarah Kennedy given out?
