Re: Where's Geordie?
Indeed regrettably like players, executives do not manage to perform at the same level forever or manage to adapt to a changing environment. It's just life.

Re: I hope Mike Ford goes out to The World Cup Final
I think the club should send a representative to support our boys. I suggest we send the captain who can then watch his brother hopefully win a World Cup. An appropriate reward for the years of service both have given to Tigers. He can travel with Mike

Re: Where's Geordie?
We have changed coaches, we have changed players. There is however one constant during our 6-7 year decline, the chairman and chief exec. Sometimes a correlation does reveal the cause.

It's not the most thrilling of matches but then I'm more relaxed when I don't care who wins.

Certainly a lot missed or ignored these days. Can almost hear the ref saying "Well yes but it was only a little bit forward so play on"

Re: ENG vs NZ - RWC Semi
I know he is a bit of an anti christ on here but a shout out for Farrell’s captaincy which has been spot on, backed up brilliantly by George and Lenny Is he Englands best 10, probably not. Is he Englands best 12, possibly not. Is he a leader and a fighter, he most certainly is. A real leaders perfo...

Re: Forward passes
There is a fixed point to work with - the pitch. Arms move, players move but the pich doesn't. Waffle about momentum is garbage. Likewise the direction of the hands. Tosh - Time to bring it to an end. Absolutely if the ball is received in advance of where the pass was delivered from it's forward. E...

Re: Forward passes
There do seem to be more allowed clearly forward passes these days. Not convinced about the arguments about direction of hands, momentum of the ball etc. As suggested not clearly backwards then its forward.

Re: Premiership Round 1 - Worcester vs Tigers
I guess what is eminently disappointing is that we have had the "advantage" of an extra long pre-season, 4 pre-season games and yet we still don't seem to have the cohesion that would be expected and required. Hopefully the weekend was just a one off aberration.
