Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Interesting. the LTTV interview is very good. Its very clear, and the justifications of the circumstances are now much clearer. I have to say she and the club do come across much better than the press lead us all to believe. Its now starting to become clear that the other clubs are a) not a PLC, b)...

Certainly agree with your comments about Manu. IMO he is no longer in the 10 best 13s in the world, still a very good player and those who talk about potential Lions tours I think he’ll be lucky to make the plane. Didn’t fancy watching the six nations or World Cup then? :smt017 He’s been in absolut...

Chris Foy has just tweeted that Manu and the club have not reached an agreement.

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!

I keep thinking that we have reached the lowest low we can. And we keep finding a new one. Hugely frustrating to be in a situation where the whole fan base knows their are some pretty nightmare scenario talks going on and all the club will communicate is something to do with Bingo.

I really can’t imagine that Mark Wilson won’t be starting the big games. I’m excited to see how Ludlam gets on.

Re: England Treviso training camp

No Cips, no Goode, two of the most versatile and talented players who are England qualified. Rugby by brute force and numbers then? Successive coaches have consistently not picked Cipriani, and Goode has never performed particularly well when he has been selected for England. I think our first choi...

The best kids tend to get offered scholarships and move to private schools. :smt017 not too big a mystery as to how that could skew the number a bit. Not aware of this happening with other big sports in the uk, excerpt potentially cricket.

Yes I really was hoping Tigers might push the boat out on this one, I know he will miss a fair bit of the season but in big games exactly the kind of player we have been sorely lacking.

Both the home and away shirts in 13/14 were very good imo as was the home shirt in 14/15.
Totally agree! The black and charcoal tiger stripes European shirt is probably my favourite kit we have ever had!

Re: New Kit

Canterbury is the best kit maker by a country mile, playing kit is great but the training kit is brilliant. Most on here whinged like mad when we had Canterbury though so I don’t think anyone can win!! Well, they did give us “the bib”. And a black stripe. And horizontal pin-stripes. And the orange ...

Re: Tigers vs Bath

Did they? Because who was the last exceptional academy player? You don't create exceptional players though. You can improve them. Also the players who came up through those two are still only 21/20. Ok I agree with that, but compare our home grown players that age profile to Saints (very fair compa...

Re: Tigers vs Bath

Don’t post on here often anymore, but just have to say I totally agree that keeping the coaching in the ‘#tigersfamily’ is ludicrous in 2019. I’m sorry to say it because I’m sure he’s a nice bloke-but ho can Matt Smith legitimately be the best candidate to be the head of the academy?! He’s been coac...
