Re: Team vs Saints

Deluded. The Club is so denuded of any class; Saints will put 40-50 points on us (Minimum). There is no hope We had 5 BILions in 2009, We had 4 BiLions in 2013, We had 2 in 2017 (inc. 1 who pulled out). We will have none in 2021. I would say there is a good chance we will have between none and 3 but...

Re: Tigers vs Sale - 05 Sep 20

I really think Lavanini has been quite poor. Agree Steward deserves the start at 15.

Re: London Irish

The only way is up.

Ben Youngs played very well, I think we took him off quite prematurely we looked pretty ropey after that.

Re: Manu Tuilagi

I completely sympathise with Manu. We are worse off without him. He was exceptional for Sale in attack in the first half vs Exeter. We could really use some of that front foot ball about now!

Re: Teams up v Bath

I don't get the criticism either. Borthwick has a brilliant opportunity to take a look at the broader squad that he's inherited. Great chance for some of the Tiger cubs to stick their hand up and show what they can do. What have we got to lose, eh?! After all, one of the big criticisms amongst the ...

Re: Teams up v Bath

This is without exception the weakest team that tigers have ever fielded in the Premiership. And it is this complacent nostalgia that has done for Tigers, these past ten years or more. Both on and off the field. We now have an extended pre-season against several Premiership sides. It's a golden opp...

Re: Team for Exeter

The backs... 9. Youngs 7/10 - A quick tap-and-go set the pace and put the Tigers in a great position early on, played at a consistent pace that wasn’t too slow and box-kicked very well (a poor rushed charge down aside), in terms of recent Tigers performances much better from YBY 10. Ford 8/10 - Gre...

Re: Team for Exeter

True that squads will need clever managing, but we were incredibly light on quality in the back 3 today. Really hope he comes in versus Bath, we need to win that one.

Re: Team for Exeter

I think we are really forced into a quite a limited game plan at the moment of kick chase, territory and preying on errors due to the limitations outside of 10. But having said that, that’s probably the smart thing to do. Scott did look good, I would rather see him at 13 and I would like to see Henr...

Re: New Kit

Just seen the new photos of the kit on the competition, think the Darker tiger stripes look great, but don’t know why their only on one side of the kit? Not sure about that, think it looks better centred on the away kit!

I like the shirt a lot. I think the ‘club first’ is a bit of a dig really given the current climate.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

Chris Egerton has retweeted Alec Lowe who states that as JT is out of the country he was not listed as ‘...a slightly different situation...’ but is leaving. I think the evidence is overwhelming now, so let’s not get our hopes up. Taufua had recently returned to the club from NZ. So where is he gon...
