Re: Tigers v Sale Sharks

Could have been stronger, they are missing: Byron Mcguigan (Scotland) TJ Ioane (Samoa) Halani Aulika (Tonga) AJ MacGinty (USA) Johnny Leota (Injured) Josh Beaumont (Injured) Tom Curry (Injured) Will Addison (injured) But clearly we're missing a few aswell so I am not disagreeing it may be close. Ro...

Re: Croft retires

Simon Cohen did say that he is always welcome at Welford Road. Whether that is to run a matchday coffee stand or help as the Lineout coach, God only knows.

Re: Bath vs Tigers

Back to the topic of this forum, Tommy Reffell was joint-2nd highest tackler with Harry Wells and 3rd highest in turnovers won. Top stuff from the 18 year old.

Not really in my opinion, I know he has been released early but has fewer days rest than other players and therefore I think he should be used as an impact sub

Re: Popcorn Mondays - Tomorrow

Amidst all the good news it's interesting to see that Tigers have confirmed the duration of one of the contracts, which from what I remember, very rarely happens. Anyone any ideas what the motives may have been for doing that for Toomua's deal? It’s to prevent the Australians from trying to get him...

Re: Tigers v Sale Sharks

I think Tigers could experiment with a centre combo of Thacker and Owen. Genge can come off the bench and so can Fitzgerald.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

Can't see both of them going though I can but I don't think it's favorable. If both of them go that leaves us with. T.Youngs, Polota-Nau, Kerr, Mahoney and Bateman. I saw Kerr in the A league and was impressed with his sturdy ball-carrying and Mahoney has scored a few lineout tries in the A League ...

Re: Tatafu Polota-Nau watch

While I'm very excited for the arrival of Polota-Nau, I'm slightly concerned because I think he hasn't got a brilliant injury track record.

I watched the Welsh game and thought he played well but the Aussie media rated him a 7 and said that he wasn't as good as the Japan game

Re: Popcorn Mondays - Tomorrow

In theory, we shouldn't be able to talk to any players who are out of contract at the end of this year until 1 January, so I'm doubting there will be any new players from within the Prem. Most likely, re-signings. Yes but I'm sure we can announce signings for January or next year. But I agree with ...

Re: Tigers v Sale Sharks

I think both the other 2 starting back rowers, Lewis and Reiffel did far more than Tuilagi on Friday night to further their claims for a bench spot. To be honest I would have any 3 on the bench I wouldn't mind. Can Williams play 8? If I remember correctly from the semifinal last year he came on for...

Interesting advertisement for the game by the Tigers considering the two men on the poster (Vieanu and Solomona) are both away with international duty and I'm sure would unavailable for the game

Cant stand the man!
