Re: Should there be a mosque at ground zero?
Just get rid of all religion. It disgusts me. There is no beardy bloke looking down on us, but there WERE thousands of corpses dragged out of the twin towers rubble, and anything that relates remotely to the fairytales and intolerance that brought about their death is disgusting and primitive. Scie...

Re: Championship playoffs not fair?
Big John: I'd forgotten how stupidly complicated the Championship playoffs were and how long they took, sorry. Senior moment. While all the kerfuffle of the groups all playing each other goes on what do the teams who aren't involved do, talk amongst themselves?

Re: CYCLISTS Grrrrrrr
It may sound easily achievable but if the police can't make sure motor vehicles and their drivers have mots, insurance, rfl and licenses, how are they going to enforce this? CCtv and patrols, as now. Doesn't work And what about the six year old on the pavement outside their house with stabilisers o...

Re: Championship playoffs not fair?
Is he also advocating the end of relegation/promotion? If he isn't then players/clubs are going to be in the same position of not knowing where they'll be as they are now. It MAY be decided early if one club is streets ahead in a lower division and one in the tier above is completely Brad but that t...

More wasps than you can shake a stick at here. In a nice pub yesterday (The Swan at Radcote) where 6 nests had been destroyed yet whole garden full of wasps. I gave up counting after 30.

Re: CYCLISTS Grrrrrrr
It is true, Rizzo that there are idiots behind the wheel - but it is the sheer number of dozy/rude dangerous cyclists that is the problem. Every year Thames Valley Police has to deploy a fair number officers just to deal with the problems caused by cyclists in Oxford. "I didn't know you had to ...

Re: CYCLISTS Grrrrrrr
Thursday last, rush hour but traffic very slow even by normal standards. Hold up caused by cars having to overtake a cyclist riding 4 feet from the kerb on a single lane in each direction road. Next to him, two thirds of the wide pavement is marked as a cycle lane - completely flat, unpotholed and d...

Re: The Coalition.......Superb.
This controversial topic seems to lack a certain amount of.... controversy? Personally , I think the coalition, the ConDem'd, is appalling. Cameroony has no grasp of history (viz his comments about us being junior partners in 1940 to the US) but worse he has no understanding of how to escape a reces...

Re: Be a Tigers Mascot.....as long as you pay £110-130 !!
Professional Rugby If you really can’t stump it up, perhaps you should give up the season ticket? So, if you can't afford all of it we don't want you. Is that what you are saying? No poor people allowed? No. I'm saying pay your way and don't expect something for nothing. There are lots of Tigers fa...

Re: Honour killings
Question: was Margaret Thatcher a real man in disguise ? :smt003 I will reveal this dangerous state secret if you can say how the little puppet Sarkozy is worked. Is it strings, a hand up the back or electronics? Some say Sarkozy snuffs coke, others that it's just prescription drugs. Lot of hot air...

A lottery giving all the youngsters a chance would be the fair way.
Edit:
And perhaps if were well-heeled I could offer £200? Then It would just be my family - fair?
