Re: Enthusiasm... a message to the announcer
The extreme "US style wrestling announcer" is to be avoided at all costs. The one at Wembley embarrassed even Saracens supporters - and that takes some doing. Furthermore, I do not need an announcer to get me excited, the anticipation and, I hope, the match will do that. I need the announc...

Re: A bit of a sing song
You do us a disservice! We had Moooodaaay! Moooodaaay! Moooodaaay! And Deanooo! Deanooo! Deanooo! I assume it is I to whom you refer. But, my dear, I refer you to my previous post - never more than two. Thusly Deano deano and tigers tigers. Moody replaces Deano but the total number of chants remain...

Re: Bath match
I, too was surprised by the absence of such a thread. The rain, then sleet, then hail came down early in the first half. It sounded like drummers on the roof of the Crumbie at one point. Although the sky lightened, the rain didn't stop for a long time. The fast running game of last Sunday was never i...

Re: Men of letters
Hence the reason I always had a soft spot for Briss (even though they were backwards) How quickly time seems to pass, too. It was only a couple of years ago that we gave up letters wasn't it? Well 3, 5 tops. Certainly not more than 7... Umm... this was more a paean to the ageing process.. Never min...

Re: A bit of a sing song
I like chants.
I think 2 is enough
Singing is for other clubs
Saracens have a songbook (which should be enough to kill this ridiculous idea for ever)

Re: today ref
Agree about the poor standard of refereeing. Our boys not wholly blameless (Hem hem) but serious infringements missed all over the place. Bath collapsed a maul so obviously in the first half people on passing buses noticed - which leads me to ask: what is the point of the "assistant referees&qu...

Re: Body design flaws
Better back/pelvic structure to carry the weight of our massive heads/brains. The current model is why everyone has a bad back in their 50's at the latest. Gills.

Re: Leicester Tigers Supporter Club
Ok, I'll reply.
I live a long way from Leicester nowadays so a supporters club would do nothing for me as It would be a trouble to get to/stay at after a game/ what have you.
In principle, though, it wouldn't appeal - I'm not a joiner. And what would such a club do?

Thanks for this. I was wondering what happened - it looked serious on the day. Why so long for news, I wonder?

Re: Stuart State the bleeding obvious' Barnes
What was so special about Bill McLaren? Rugby lovers around the world would tell you first and foeremost his total lack of bias even when his beloved Scotland were playing. Or even when his son-in-law was playing Who was his son in law? Have to admit i never found him biased. Alan Lawson 15 caps fo...

For the Scarlets there were an alleged 19,000 and an embarrassingly large number of empty seats.bluntiger wrote:There were 22811 at the same fixture last year but I too am expecting to see less than 20000, especially as Moody is now ruled out.Old Hob wrote: So another less than 20, 000 turn out?
