Re: JPR on rugby injuries
Added to that; there is an article in today's Times on American football injuries. Despite the padding players suffer head trauma and they can develop chronic traumatic encephalopathy. The effects of CTE include erratic behaviour, emotional and memory problems, depression and dementia. Andre Waters,...

Re: Body design flaws
Try this for a design flaw. A species of monkey that has to stick it head between its knees when it rains because its nose points upwards.

Re: Autumn Internationals
It is about the money Brum. The RFU say they will gross £35 million from the 4 internationals. £10m from each of the big three and 5 from Samoa. A very big part of that is broadcast rights money.

Re: Corporate 'Supporters'
I met a chap on a "corporate jolly" at the end of last season. Nice bloke, one of the assembly workers (or similar) for Caterpillar and they had arranged it. He was bowled over. He'd never seen a rugby game live, was impressed you could have beer AND see the match and was determined to rep...

Re: Team for Glos
Old Hob, i am not sure anyone fears the Tigers anymore; the playing field has levelled out considerably over the last 2 seasons. Of course Tigers will win with whoever is at 10. Glaws have to be confident or there is no reason to play; that said lets go for an ugly win again! If you read the unoffy...

TIB I so agree. There seems to be NO contest on the floor nowadays. "Ruck called" OK, hands out, feet then boys. NO. Ball squirts out either ruck or maul. Leave it until Mr Small says you can touch it. IF THERE ARE TO BE NO HANDS IN THE RUCK AND NO FEET EITHER THEN HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO ...

Re: Team for Glos
There are rumours circulating that Flood is NOT to be released and 12T is injured. I suspect that this may be scaremongering by Glos fans but does anyone have any hard evidence? This was the original question which still stands. If 36 is OK and we have Castro but not Boris, nor Youngs, Flood, Croft ...

All good beans but I don't get the rug hatred. When there are gaps in the crowd that wind can get right up yer Crumbie. I don't have a rug yet, but after Saturday I might.

I agree Roly. I was (pleasantly) surprised, though alarmed, that we didn't play more 10 man rugby in the last 20.

Wonderful! I love the commentary "He must have played football in Italy"
What internationals have France coming up? And will Szarzewski be available for them?
