Re: Is Football now following Rugby's disciplinary route?

The only way sin binning could work in football is if they brought in a 3rd card, between yellow and red, if it was attached to a yellow card most games would be spent at about 6 a side for the majority of the 90 mins with celeb refs topping up their column inches. As I said before, you're not givi...

Re: Is Football now following Rugby's disciplinary route?

I have watched football my entire life, I'm a season ticket holder at Leicester City I am telling you football referees wouldn't make this work Oh well. If people cannot or will not learn, then I guess soccer is fated to remain as it is, i.e. corrupt at the top, inherently homophobic and racist and...

Re: Is Football now following Rugby's disciplinary route?

in Rugby yellow cards are given for serious fouls and persistent infringement, in football I've seen plenty of players make honest challenges that just happen to be a fraction late so are "just a foul" but the ref shows a yellow card because he's just decided the next foul is a yellow regardless. Y...

Re: Is Football now following Rugby's disciplinary route?

If a soccer player commits an offence that warrants a yellow card, then the team against which he/she has transgressed should benefit from it, i.e. by that player being removed from the match for a set period of time. As the system currently stands, a player can receive several yellow cards before d...

I look forward to the day when all those who keep referring to the 'tartan rug brigade' reach a certain age and start to feel the cold.

Re: Tigers v Saints AWC Saturday 28th Jan.

My only negative comment would be the use of the big screen to play the videos of the kids shouting something in support of the team. They will have loved it and I have no problem in encouraging the kids but lets find a better way than this please. Agreed. I can see it going down the same road as r...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17

Yesterday, Mrs BeeJ went to get a cup of tea from one of the counters under the H&B Stand at approx. 14.10. One till was out of action because someone was being trained how to use it ... AT 50 MINUTES BEFORE KICK-OFF! Just how much further is the incompetence of the general catering at Welford Road ...

Re: Tigers v Saints AWC Saturday 28th Jan.

I agree with the previous two comments. I go to Welford Road to watch a game of rugby, not to listen to a bunch of drums being banged. I too was well and truly peed off with them in Nottingham and no doubt they'll be parading in front of us in the big stand on Saturday. If you automatically assume m...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17

I must confess we were two season ticket holders who didn't go to the match on Saturday. I must also confess I'm :censored: glad we didn't!

Re: e cigarettes

So leave them alone, if ypu (sic) want to give up smoking buy the special nicotine gum that is recommended by Health professionals. Alternatively, stop altogether. The urge for a nicotine fix only lasts for a couple of minutes so, if you feel one coming on, divert your mind into doing something els...

5 Home
3 Away
1 Neutral
The Bath match, whether it's at The Rec or Twickenham, is deemed a home fixture for them.

Pardon? The Tigers have 5 home matches (Gloucester, Bristol, Exeter, Newcastle & Sale) and 4 away matches (Quins, Northampton, Bath & Worcester) remaining.
