I beg to differ from the majority on this message board. In our household, Mrs NAJ (Scotland supporter) thought it wasn't a try. I thought it was for the following reasons: - no clear evidence of a foot touching the touch line (or over over it) - no evidence of any part of SW's anatomy touching the ...

RFU Deal's Impact on Salary Cap?

If the new deal entitles a club to £175,000 per elite player, does this money get added to the club's salary cap? If not, why not?

I thought Vickery was going to play loose-head - are you saying Bracken played loose-head opposite JW?

Sounds like JW had a great game - does he have the legs for three more games in these conditions?!?!?

White vs Vickery

I was watching the Worcester vs Sararens game on Sky and they showed a few snippets of the Tigers vs Wasps game including a long distance shot of the penalty try. I presume from this that the Tigers' scrummage was on top. I've never rated Vickery as a scrummager, especially on the loose-head. I'm gu...

Are you thinking of Paul Ackford being felled by F Mendez at Twickers ~15 years ago? Looked like a giraffe that has eaten too much fermenting fruit.

Nick Easter (vs Martin Corry)

The Sky pundits seemed to like Nick Easter's contribution to quins recovery over the last 3-4 months. He had one flashy run but exhibited morestyle than substance in my opinion. Throwing dummies when no ones about to tackle you looks impressive to some. I didn't see him do much in the trenches thoug...

He missed several "infringements" on both sides. For example, Jennings' block to allow Hipkiss to score. Perhaps you should be pointing fingers at the touch judges who between them should be better placed to call forward passes etc. After all, the referee doesn't have the advantage of the ...

Tennis in Limerick???

I've been told that the Munster fans will be sporting "Back hands" at the forthcoming HC match in honour of the antics at that scrum in Cardiff a few years ago. Perhaps they're copying the idea from Kenny Everett. Also, the BOFs in the GAA were approached but declined to let the rugby folk...

I agree with the comments about the BBC being obsessed with football. I wonder how many years it is since a TV set without Ceefax/Teletext was sold? If anyone's that interested in the football scores, let them look it up themselves rather than having the repeated banners showing "old" scor...

I watched the game on Sky channel 135 (S4C). I figured out how to get sub-titles in English but could find a way of getting an Englsih commentary. Tried the radio over the internet but that didn't seem to be working (perhaps a problem at my end?). Did anyone manage to get sound and vision from once ...
