On the subject of Freddie, we can't have it both ways. We can't moan about the attack being dull or not good enough, and then then moan about the solution to that problem is by bringing in Shillcock. Currently with Freddie at FB, we are probably defensively stronger, yet probably weaker in attack. ...

Are you suggesting that a move to 12 from the wing isn’t that dramatic? Maybe you could name others that have made that move I'll go with George North.... Think you’ll find he had 13 on his back. I said 12 they are different positions and not many can cover both ...and I said centre.... unless 12 i...

Steward started his senior career on the wing for us, so obviously knows that position well, from there a move inside isn't that dramatic! Are you suggesting that a move to 12 from the wing isn’t that dramatic? Maybe you could name others that have made that move I'll go with George North....

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

For me the Newcastle scrum had Diamond's fingerprints all over it, he knows Dickenson has neither the knowledge or the nouse to see the early push, the angled shove and the classic Diamond shuffle (also known as wheeling). Every team he coaches have the same play book, credit to him as they seem to...

We won, be happy :smt023 Harry Wells had his best game for a while, JVP looks like a man on a mission, Wiese - say no more, Hanro - Mr consistent, Shilcock great at fullback, both front rows were good against a pack that was at best 'going early' or, more often, just getting away with murder. I can't find a statement from Prem Rugby... have they said anything about this? On BBC A spokesperson for the Rugby Football Union said: "The RFU conducts regular reviews following all games that take place, as will be the case for Saracens v Harlequins." Otherwise read: 'We're just looki...

Biggest surprise for me tbh is Cokanasiga rather than Scott, Brown or Porter at 23... Maybe a suggestion that he has done enough to earn a contract renewal? Him and Whitcombe on the bench over Van Wyk and Scott could be a look to next season too? When interviewed after a recent match (can't remembe...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

I get the impression that there will be an evolution in our game over the summer with us looking to attack space more than one out runners into defenders. I also get the impression we'll have a few different ball carrying options rather than just one big wrecking ball. I may, of course, be complete...
