Re: When is a tackle a tackle?
The tackle was made with open arms which should have been spotted by the ref, real time or not. The hit was with the top of the shoulder and whilst marginally high was in my opinion OK. 'Brick walls' comes to mind.

Re: The Rugby Club
Let's hope that we get the home international back on free to air TV. At least with Brian you get unbiased and an intelligent informed opinion which is a great deal more than you ever get from Barnes whether on Sky or in the Sunday Times.

Re: Should "shoeing" be made legal?
Heard an interesting discussion on the radio a couple of weeks ago about the increasing severity of injuries. The point was made that "shoeing" injuries were of the "odd cuts and bruises" type in the main, not the more serious kind caused by massive double hits. Of course it sho...

Re: England VS Australia
Barnes is always doing it and members of the press are either proffering their love-children (e.g. the has-been Cipriani) or walloping on about something that is firmly the fault of the RFU. Re: England VS Australia
Good to see that Barnes and Stephen Jone are both calling for Johnson's head. No change there then!

Re: Leicester 22 - 17 South Africa Great Win!!!!
Game; what a game! Try; what a try!!!!! I hope all the dissenters will now give it a rest. For me it was the try of the season so far. Finishing of the highest order and well worth the entry money alone. Yes, some other parts of his game need work but with ball in hand the kid is madgical to watch. ...
