Marler Broken leg

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/article-4107196/Joe-Marler-joins-England-s-extensive-injury-list-ahead-Six-Nations-scan-reveals-broken-leg.html Possible call up for Ellis Genge, England now running out of loose heads. I think Catt and Mullen are incumbents, but with Vunipola and Marler o...

Re: The search for an 8 continues

The No8 at Chiefs is pretty handy, suits a driving maul too as I recall. Mind you, a DoR would have to be insane to let a player like that go. Reminds me of a player we had who in his final contract year played to a level not have it renewed? I recall he was awful that year a major step down from p...

Re: The search for an 8 continues

If Tom Youngs can move from centre to hooker, what about Ellis Genge from prop to number 8. He is a big unit, aggressive and can carry.....

Just a thought!!!

Re: Is it now time to thank Cockers?

I think a reality check is due. Whatever happens Cockerill staying or going the solutions have to be longer term. Short term fixes are ok but just paper over the cracks. As much as I don't like them, you have to have a grudging respect for Saracens, it took them at least five years in the current in...

Re: Ben Youngs

He did have a bad day at the office but equally it was all back foot ball with little or no space to work. I think this reflects more on our speed to the breakdown and lack of physicality than it does on Ben but that said I would have hoped for better. Agree not a great day at the office, but to co...

Re: Munster v Leicester, Thomond Park

I decided to let matters stew and ferment before posting. I did not wish to trigger a keyboard warrior kneejerk response. Yes it hurts, as someone said earlier not the loss but the manner. I am sure the players will be hurting, embarrassed and possibly those seeking new contract negotiations financi...

Re: England vs Argentina

Cole has developed into a ruck inspector! Looks like he is avoiding contact not showing a lot of intensity

Didn't last long though, very careless! Deserved red, had his eyes on the player either very stupid or very cynical, suspect the former

Re: George Ford

On the RL show OW was unequivocal in wishing to remain at Tigers, as unequivocal as Cockers was about wanting him to stay. IMO it is Fred we want to look after as well - keep the two and sod Ford. Agree wholeheartedly, I know on his day Ford can be world class, but how much of him would we see acro...
