Oh come off it BFG! It was tongue-in-cheek! Perhaps Jamie Taylor has motivational skills lacking elsewhere!

Well done the Academy! Perhaps Jamie Taylor should be coaching the senior squad!

Re: Murphy interview in Irish Independent
Yes, the academy is the future; Olowofela is obviously promising, but he's too easy to knock over at present. The defense has improved markedly. I've lived to see something I never expected to; Dan Cole making tackles! We still convert too few attacks into points; that will be more difficult to chan...

Re: TV replaced by TV??
Goneva is a year older than TomV, but he still gives defenders headaches. I'd welcome Niki back for injury cover. At this stage of the season, Varndel and Sarti are about as good as we can expect as temporary signings. Keep a sense of proportion. But, I'd only use them in case of injury to JM or JH....

Re: Is their a plan?
THERE IS NO PLAN! According to Peter Tom's statement, there is no shortage of money for playing and coaching staff. Whatever Murph wants he will get. “This is not just in terms of paying up to the salary cap on the squad, but also in funding support for the team in terms of staff and the facilities ...

Re: Tigers' decline
Thank you for reading my comments. In the time it took you to write the reply, you could have put pen to paper! Writing is not, as you suggest, irrelevant. It is, indeed, a sad comment that no one writes letters any more. What all of you are overlooking is, that the people whom you are hoping to inf...

" by chewbacca » Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:48 am The message will get across when and only when the main shareholders are not satisfied with the return on their investment. Likely our current freefall decline will prove unattractive to sponsors making finances even more difficult." By the time re...

Re: Tigers' decline
"Letters? That costs money that people don't want to spend." A stamp, compared with the cost of your support? Unbelievable! A petition, which might never take off, is more likely to be ignored than a sack-full of letters. Has writing now become too difficult?

Re: Tigers' decline
Open letter to the Executive Chairman: December 3rd, 2018. Dear Mr. Tom, as a long-term supporter of Leicester Tigers, I wish to express my deep concern about the severe decline in the on-field fortunes of the club. This concern, I know, is shared by thousands of other dedicated supporters. The stee...

Tigers' decline
This forum might be great for letting off steam, but, it's patently obvious that no one of consequence reads it. Might I suggest that fans who feel as disgusted as I do about the decline of our club, invest 5 minutes and a stamp, in writing a letter, expressing that disgust, to Peter Tom or Simon Co...

Re: Bristol v Tigers
Why is it that our best ever captain resists all attempts to recruit him? Presumably MJ? He was a great leader, but he would be the first to admit that he is no coach.

Stuart Lancaster (Head), John Wells (Forwards), Mike Catt (Backs, Attacking), Joe Worsley (Defense) are all out of contract end of Season....
You make a lot of sense. Too much, I suspect, for the board!

Re: Bristol v Tigers
Bottom of the table 41 Tigers "All stars" 10. If there is anyone out there who is not embarrassed by this, please tell me what you're on, because I'd like some! I've been making the same point for some time, and keep getting lectures from the "let's just get behind them" brigade....
