Re: The Six Nations Thread
Strange team! Care is a poor box kicker and Evans and Adams will love the space he will give them. Also I would've played Nowell with JJ and dropped May,Nowell carries superbly in traffic and we lose a ball carrier in Teo while already being light on the carry. COYE! Care is a better box-kicker tha...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
England team announced.
Joseph in for T'eo and Care starts ahead of Wigglesworth.
Care is now England's most capped Scrum-Half - you do the maths YBY lovers.

Re: Absolutely Worthless Cup
I hear a little whisper that MOC might try and salvage something by playing a number of first teamers----------- who he did not pick against Castres----------in the futile Cup. If he does that, when Tigers reputation descended into the floor with the embarrassing side he churned out in France, then...

Re: Ben Youngs injury update
Steve Borthwick today on being asked: What's your reaction to the news about Ben Youngs? "Obviously the first thing is he's a player and you're tremendously disappointed for him. He's been playing so well, working so hard to constantly improve his game. "Interestingly though, like he said...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
I agree, I would have gone with young blood, maybe take a punt on Ben Vellacott. I wonder when Willi Heinz is eligible? The 6N, especially in a match v Wales, is not the time to 'take a punt' on anyone. Eddie Jones has two full (non 6N) international windows between now and the World Cup to 'take a...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
Wales have selected an unchanged team - apart from George North replaces Watkin and will start on the bench.
Perfect, I hope he brings on the punch drunk giraffe as early as possible.

Re: The Six Nations Thread
Not convinced the Wigglesworth call up is a good one. Capable at best. A punt on a youngster would have been my choice given that Care is experienced although less of a game manager than Youngs so I suspect Care will be on the bench and be used as an impact player when the game breaks up. Don't und...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
Wigglesworth is the safe option, and kicking is a key skill for SH at international level these days. If it was me I would have tested Robson at international level before now, but as it is he hasn't been tested, and therefore poses a risk if brought in now at short notice. I'm pretty clear on what...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
i dont think anybody has mentioned that cole isnt 1st choice prop, the only front row mentioned as past it was hartley, with both goerge and cowen-dickie both being better more impact players. And yet Hartley had a very good game v Italy. I constantly complain that I'm a better batsman than Alastai...

"We don't want to be like Northampton and Harlequins who are so desperate for success they put 1st teamers out in a plea to win some type of silverware" May i remind you of our line-up for the 2017 final: 15 George Worth 14 Peter Betham 13 Mathew Tait (c) 12 Jack Roberts 11 Tom Brady 10 F...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
As good a job as eddie is doing for the life of me there are times i just can work out his decison making, the insistence on sticking with player who are past their best and no longer the best in their position anymore and are getting to the point of being to old for he world cup squad ie hartley, ...

Re: Ben Youngs injury update
Not convinced about Ben at England level these days, but for Tigers, its a serious set-back and the team will definitely miss him. I do wish him well. Having suffered this exact same injury some years ago, I can assure you that it is very painful initially. The procedure to repair the damage is actu...

Re: The Six Nations Thread
Big congratulations to Warren Gatland and his coaching team - that game was won before it even started , brilliant game plan and brilliantly executed from an exceptional group of players ... this could be one of the best 6 nations ever From Sir Clive on Twitter. Wales were one step above poor at be...
