Re: England squad

Just think how proud the parents of Chessum's must feel! :smt038 Ollie in the second row for England and Lewis captaining the England Under 20's on the same weekend. Let us hope that both have a great game and are both on the winning sides. :smt023 JVP v Ben White might be exciting too, White can be...

Re: Samurai

I much prefer Samurai to anyone else we've had since Cotton Traders. Canterbury gave us those awful bib style shirts, don't want them back. I have no problem with Samurai products they are really well made considering other recent makes. But I do still love Cotton Traders for their flexibility in e...

Re: England squad

Courtney Lawes (Saints) and George McGuigan (Gloucester) have withdrawn from the squad due to injury - Tom Dunn (Bath) and David Ribbans (Saints) called up to the squad. No Ribbans for the Derby this weekend. Boooom!! Right calls and good news for us I am rather surprised that Harry Thacker did not...

Re: International Coaching changes

The question is “is that the same as the keep Sale in the top4 plan?”. Did not do that for us although not his fault, he was not the solution. George did keep us in the premiership. Given what George did for us, Id employ Mike, his mum and Auntie Aggie if that was what was needed. :smt005 Auntie Ag...

Re: David Duckham

What a great shame. He was the finest player I ever saw in an England jersey and I don't say that lightly. He was an absolute joy to watch and was an intrigal part of that famous Barbarians try finished off by Gareth Edwards. And the only Englishman involved, if I remember aright. Head back, blond ...

Re: Tigers v Clermont (A) - Friday 13th January 2023 - KO 20-00

I’d be tempted to give Wolstenholme some minutes, perhaps on the bench from both matches to give some time with Pollard and Atkinson. According to the ERC website our Wolstenholme is not registered but this might not be up to date as Tom Cowan-Dickie and Gabriel Oghre are still on the listing. It s...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Saturday 07th January 2023 - KO 14:00

There actually is some evidence against artificial surfaces for rugby but the differences are not great and not conclusive. That the players are mire likely to suffer burns and grazes seems pretty clear hence a number wearing tights.. Frankly I just don't like them mind you i was not keen on playin...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration

JTG I think your hope of more than 12 or 14 professional teams is unrealistic. 2 have already gone to the wall, 2 more are reportedly struggling, Irish and Quins, and the Eelsh region’s desperate heavy WRU backing are playing in front of quarter full stadium and their feeder clubs are already semi ...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester (H) - Christmas Eve 2022 - KO 15:00

Worm's you should have asked why I was wearing a blue MND tee shirt as I passed you pork pie during the match. There were 31 of us stationed with buckets around the ground, donations by QR codes on the buckets exceeded £3500.00 and I reckon I must have had a couple of hundred in cash in the bucket....

Re: Tigers v Gloucester (H) - Christmas Eve 2022 - KO 15:00

The presentation arrangements for the Ed Slater Cup looked amateur with mic's breaking, already missing the Blyth tones of Gary Sherrard but Ed's plea for more MND funding is totally correct ~ Just a real shame that Tigers had not arranged with MND to organise a loose change bucket collection and no...

Do not forget Marco van Staden left early and made a miraculous recovery in the Southern hemisphere air.

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

Have a feeling we will see an announcement post Clermont game. Its already done and dusted imo, they just don't want to upset preparations for that game Think they'd let the players know ASAP once confirmed who's going (& when they're going)so any distraction to them is done and out. In some way...

At least it's not Joyless Neville in the van... The only hope with Brace is he hates the opposition more than you, once you are on the wrong side of him you are stuffed. Quote "At least it's not Joyless Neville in the van..." Does this mean she has divorced Brace? I thought they were join...
