Cannot wait...might not be a running game as it has rained not-stop for about a month here in the Gloucester area !!! Probably expect more Flood damage come the weekend then ! Also, in reply to Boondocks comments, as I have said to a Stains fan at work forget the next 8 months, the Saints v Wuss ga...

So for those of us, like myself, that thought with City's relegation we would get more coverage for Tigers, it actually means less.

Well Done, Radio Leicester. :smt011

Another statisfied family here. Got there about 12 ish wandered round doing the treasure hunt, and were just commenting that we hadn't seen any players when all of the sudden the pitch was full of them. Highlight for the kids was meeting Castro, but gutted they didn't see Alex T. Kids also had photo...

I thought Britain would do well at canoeing - but then we put our top canoeist in prison for 3 years. :smt003

M*A*S*H was brilliant, but I don't really class it as a sitcom, as BJ mentions you could be laughing one episode and crying the next. Also the Carry on films, although legendary, were films not sitcoms (Clue is in the description :smt002 ). What era were these 'Dustbinmen'? Also, strangely attracted...

Echoing what others have said about him being willing to spend time with supporters and being the perfect gentleman.

Glad you enjoyed it Rizzo, there was a bit on the news about it last night and it looked rather interesting, but 3 and a half hours is a bit to long for my attention span. :smt003

I agree fully with your comment about Only Fools and Horses.

Whats wrong with Terry and June :smt017 :smt003

The worst ever 'sitcom' of all time, IMO, is Last of the Summer Wine, Or the old actors retirement home, as I call it. :smt011

Any other contenders for worst ones?

A couple more local ones: The White Horse at Broughton Astley, 2 for 1 (I think all the time) but a bit more exciting than your usual 2 for 1 menu. The chicken and stilton is gorgeous. Also, doesn't matter how busy it is, you never seem to have to wait to long. The Shires at Peatling Parva, superb c...

Sitcoms

Whilst watching the 40th celebrations of Dads Army at the weekend, it got Mrs FP and I talking about sitcoms in general. My personal favourites apart from Dads Army, were Porridge, Some mothers do have 'em and of course Only Fools and horses.(All made pre mid 80's?) Blackadder was good in its day, b...
