New kits for next season

“As we look towards a new season with our ‘stronger in stripes’ message, we hope the fans are proud of this season’s iconic green, white and red jersey as well as our new look away kit, which has been influenced by the club’s famous run-out music at Welford Road.” Does this mean we can look forward ...

Re: Tudor Thomas RIP

Very sad to hear this. Tudor was the Voice of the Tigers for a long time and I was sorry when he was replaced as the match day announcer - always brought a smile to my face.
RIP Tudor.

Re: Tigers v Wasps Sunday March 25th

I thought Wasps were struggling with injuries? That still looks like a pretty decent side to me. Maybe the bench is a weakness but the starting XV look like they could cause a few problems.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!

The story on the BBC website had me confused for a moment - the headline reads "Barrow set for Saints after France loan", but the picture is of Mike Fitzgerald. Do they ever get anything right outside of the wendyball page?

Re: Ticket and cup fiasco

I don't like to moan but: 2. Buy a drink. Drink it. Go back for re-fill. Told can't re-fill your empty cup. Options: buy at full price again and accumulate extra cups or go exchange your cup for a £1 and then buy drink. As an ex-barman myself I'm wondering would it really be so difficult for the ba...

Re: The new App

Maybe they wanted to make it available (and functional) across other platforms and not just Apple products!

Re: The new App

I agree that it would be handy if we could access the Message Board via the app.
Admittedly the old version was written predominantly for iphones which is why it was, at best, flaky on my Android phone,
but at least this new version works on my phone.

Re: Newcastle v Sarries to be played in US

Er, did I miss an episode? I thought the fixture list is usually produced around the early part of July. We don't even know yet which team will replace Bristol in the Premiership, so who has decided the date of this fixture?

BBC have done it again - who on earth is Luke Williams? Next week I suppose it'll be Mike Hamilton!

No, they didn't. Probably not even aware of their mistake even though I have pointed it out to them. Can't say I'm surprised.

Re: Joost van der Westhuizen RIP

A very sad day indeed - my condolences to Joost's family. Such a pity that the BBC have once again shown total ignorance of the game we all love - on last night's East Midlands Today they reported on Joost's passing, saying that he was a former Tiger having signed for us in 2003, clearly mistaking h...

Re: Ceremony after game last night

Not sure what it was for, but at a guess could it have been for Jack Roberts? He made his 25th appearance for the first team in the Sarries match - don't we award a cap for 25 appearances?
