Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
Some on here are deliberately painting this as an either or equation, no grey areas ( are they perhaps they suffer from an infection of twitter!) Personally I want to know if the club deliberately and knowingly under reported or they made a mistake, or one individual made an error, none of these pos...

Re: New Salary Cap Breach?
I think a statement from the club explaining their position regarding these payments would help us all put this to bed. Were the board as a whole aware and in agreement with the disregarding these payments as far as the cap was concerned or were they unaware, and this was the action of an individual...

Re: "Afters"
And yes, the hooker standing on the pitch is a major bugbear of mine as well, it is so easy to enforce, just tell the hookers that the law requires them to be off the pitch and if they stand on the pitch to throw in, it's a free kick to the opponents, simple. One other wish is that the ref had a spr...

Re: Va’aiga Tuigamala
Very sad. A great player. Saw him in play for Newcastle vs Tigers on a very wet and windy day in late December in 97. He spent the warm up by passing the ball from the 10 m line to the try line one handed- I was in awe! First tigers game that I had seen them lose, cried all the way home. RIP In tha...

Re: 6 Nations 2022
No excuses any more, England are pants, Sinkler's standing up under the posts shows he has neither the wit to work with the ref nor the skill to scrummage properly, Genge was little better, their body language was telling they both looked super relaxed, and giving off an ' I'm not bovered' vibe that...

Read on another forum that LRZ is carrying an ankle injury. Hopefully that means he gets a rest.... Not sure the Welsh aren’t going to pick him if he’s fit Well the Welsh haven't got him in their squad so he's not going to play for them. If the Welsh don't want to pick him though because he does ha...

Re: Ben Youngs
Mention of Jamie Hamilton reminds me of when he came on against Llanelli or Neath at Welford Road in the European cup, I groaned and mentioned to my Welsh neighbour on the terrace that he was probably our worst player, Jamie's first touch was to pick the ball up at a ruck and run straight through an...

Re: Bath (AWAY) - Saturday 19th February 2022 - KO 15:00
Unfortunately, as much as certain posters do not seems to understand, officiating does matter, and can easily change the result of the game. Even if they don't change the result, they can take the enjoyment out of watching it. What certain posters do not seems to understand is how tiresome it is to...

Re: GP / SIX NATIONS PLUS OTHERS - W/E 11-13TH FEBRUARY 2022
Geez, get a grip. Watching the game back, a lot of England’s issues were self-inflicted due to basic skill errors. You telling me these ‘good players’ can blame the coach for that? And do you think the French were a shambles last week as well? I certainly can blame the coach! there was little cohes...

Re: GP / SIX NATIONS PLUS OTHERS - W/E 11-13TH FEBRUARY 2022
Another utter shambles, England looked like 23 strangers who met in the pub car park 15 mins before kick off, it takes a special coach to make so many good players look so poor! Geez, get a grip. Watching the game back, a lot of England’s issues were self-inflicted due to basic skill errors. You te...

Very happy today, always a pleasure to paddle the neighbours. I do not understand why a TMO cannot see things that are obvious, the knock on in the build up to their try was a masterclass in trying not to see something, the wrong angle repeatedly, then the correct angle played at double speed and no...

The backline was a mess all game, if the answer is Daly then the question was not who is an international center in fact if the answer is Daly I think I will give up watching rugby!

Re: Premiership rugby referees review panel
We should all start from the premise that the refs are all doing their level best and they have no bias, we might not agree on their view on certain incidents but it is a view and the only one that really counts. The game is dynamic and some refs handle a pressure situation well others get caught up...

Re: Wasps (A) - Sunday 9th January 2022 - 3pm
Is 1 loss a slide? 1 loss is not a slide but a drop off in performance is a slide, to my uncultured eye we have gone off the boil, we were very much at sixes and sevens until the last play of the game against a poor Bristol team, yesterday we were very blunt in attack against a team that are no whe...
