Re: Saracens Cap Investigation
Shock horror players think unlimmited pay is the way forward, untill the club collapses under the weight of debts or the sugar daddy gets bored. I'll just chuck a couple of tweets in... Guy Mercer: "For what it’s worth I disagree with the cap. If an owner wants to pay people let them pay. Risk ...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation
I cannot absolve the players having a share of the blame from this, players at other clubs are commenting it was common currency in the changing rooms that it was considered impossible to build the Sarries sqad under the cap, so to say the Sarries players are inocent victims is streching credulity a...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation
Saracens a club built on deciet! Can we change the title of the thread? I think Saracens are Rugby Unions equivelent of Lance Armstrong and should be treated as such. Blatant cheating should be punished, for all the years it is shown to have gone on. Dean Richards was hung out to dry over a blood ca...

Re: Duty of care
It is a pointless match that no one wants to play in and few want to watch, any player who is seriously injured in this match will feel very aggrieved, I am just glad there are no Tigers players involved.

Re: Sam Harrison
I am sad to see him leave as he has given heart and soul to the club over recent seasons and been under-utilised IMHO, never first choice when an underperforming Youngs was available, which was always a mystery to me, ( I am a Youngs fan but he has had some shockers for Tigers) However good luck, Au...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation
Any breaking of the cap should negate the results for the season in question as they cheated to get the results, this is what happens in other sports, how many Tour de France's has Lance Armstrong to his name Zero because he was found guity of cheating to win them, the same should apply to Sarries i...

Re: TMO question
What qualifification is needed to be a TMO? I am left wondering after the, I dot, in the van for the England - Australia match saw no forward pass for the late Australia try! Luckily it did not matter and that the ref saw it in real time and only had to glance at the screen to see it a yard forward ...

Re: debate about high tackling
For me this is not about tackling it is about hits, which to me, have been confused. Tackling is getting the ball carrier down to ground using the arms, hits are knocking the player backward using anything available, more of the former and less of the second will return the game to normal players no...

Re: World Cup Refereeing
The commentators applauded the tackle on Vunipola, no mention of it being a shoulder charge with no arms so it is not just the refs who seem to be able to turn a blind eye

Re: Kiwi hypocrites strike again!
I have always thought that the oposition should just carry on with warm up drill etc and ignore the Haka, it has nothing to do with rugby and is just part of All Black brand recognition, AKA money!

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million
As our friends across the pond will tell you, money talks, the question is who is it talking to? We have endured several seasons of mediocrity all in the name ''of balancing the books and building for a long term sustainable future'', what has changed? Will the money buy better training facilities? ...

Re: Geordie up before the beak...three week ban!
The real questions are, why poor refs who spoiled many a game allowed to move on to be TMO's and the combination of a known poor TMO with a known weak ref is allowed to occour. GM was wrong to voice his frustration but given all we have suffered from the officials this year I understand it, he will ...

Toomua, who was he? I have forgotten him already, along with a few others that have been wasting the space inside Tigers shirts this season!

Re: Folau
Free speech is censored by tyrants, not the easily offended. Folau had been warned by his employer, got sacked. That's what actually happened. You are partialy correct, tryants is an expression open to interpretation I think the easily offended brigate are also tyrants though petty tyrants fit them ...

Re: Folau
The easily offended brigade try to censor free speech, they forget that free speach alows us to hear what idiots say and to mark down that the person is a idiot, curb free speech and the idiots remain hidden, banning all idiots from Rugby will leave a lot of teamsheets underpopulated! Why anyone lis...
