Re: Starting squad for next season (as injurys stand)
For me our Starting 22 has to be 1. Mulipola 2. Youngs (if he has a shakey game bring Hawkins or Chuter on) 3. Cole 4. Parling 5. Kitchener (for me he has really stepped up a gear and was very impressive in the midweek games for england) 6. Croft/Mafi (Like for Like so who ever is performing better ...

Re: Robshaw out of 3rd test - Hartley Captain
A long way off I know but many are talking about young George Ford as a future England captain. Apparently he led the U20's very well despite being a few years younger than the team - very level headed who the team really respected. As you said George ford is still a few seasons away from a startin...

Re: Robshaw out of 3rd test - Hartley Captain
No one else according to Stuart Lancaster as he has proved by giving the captaincy of both the test team and the mid week team to harlequins players. Pathetic in my books as neither player is international material and what happens with the captaincy when the likes of Laws, Croft and Wood are avail...

Re: Agulla to Wasps??
Martin Crowson has said on twitter that several sources now suggesting that Agulla has signed for Bath. Would be a massive shame to see him go to another English club but even worse if it is Bath or Wasps, Especially seeing as all Tigers players that go to Bath lose their form almost instantly :smt...

Re: Robshaw out of 3rd test - Hartley Captain
We just need a 7 to stick their hand up and take the step up. From what I hear Steffon Armitage is in very good form for Toulon, The problem England has it that we need a top grade 7 and although Robshaw is a great player I dont believe he is top grade international quality but if we lose him for s...

Re: Eng vs SA Babas
He plays second fiddle to mr (bit of an idiot himself) barnes, so of course he's an idiot, try to ignore him. I thought kitchener did well, he's basically a 6 with 4 on his back really which, depending on the balance of the team, could be very useful-versatile squad is key. Agreed on all other fron...

Re: Eng vs SA Babas
OK performance from England, but Jesus crist Dewi Morris is an idiot, basically saying Waldrom is a 2nd rate player and said Kitchener (who in my opinion had a solid game) didn't do anything, Care deserves a bench spot in the next test and so does Waldrom, Youngs who made a pretty big impact has a s...

Re: Eng vs SA Babas
My view: the fly half and centre pairing is dreadul, no Joseph, AA out of position, and HODGSON?! There are a whole set of u20s out there, may aswell just pick a 10 who's not currently being played. Useless. Hodgson starting is a bit bizarre, i would prefer to see Farrel start to get more game time...

Re: England 15 for the rest of the tour
As has been said on various on various other threads, another, seemingly quite popular option for the backs is as follows: 9 Youngs 10 Flood 11 Wade (though this has been discussed only briefly) 12 Tuilagi 13 Joseph 14 Ashton 15 Foden I think starting Wade would be really harsh as i dont think he w...

England 15 for the rest of the tour
Just managed to catch part of the England game on the internet and I must say Lancaster needs to let Catt loose for the next games, Farrel was frankly terrible and Barrit was as per usual a rock in defense but nowhere in attack, for me Farrel has been launched into the England 15 too early, he needs...

that team is now confirmed, interesting to see foden on the wing, not sure if Mike Catt see's him as a winger or if they are just trying to pick as many in form backs as they can

Such a shame he had to leave although admittedly I think half of our squad would have ended up being South African if he had stayed longer

Re: Eng vs SA Test Team
For me the starting 15 should be 1. Corbisiero 2. Hartley 3. Cole 4. Botha 5. Parling 6. Johnson 7. Robshaw 8. Morgan (waldrom if Morgan not fit) 9. Youngs 10. Farrel (Flood if fit) 11. Ashton 12. Allen (Farrel if Flood fit) 13. Tuilagi 14. Monye (would pick wade but think he is a bit lightweight to...
