Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints

Both teams are pretty strong. It won't be a million miles from our team against Worcester. I like the back row a lot and in fact the forwards are generally strong. I do worry about Simmons lack of game time so far. Clearly White and Harrison are preferred over him. He'll probably have to leave to co...

Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints

Hard to balance the need to play, the need to rest, the desire to go further in the competition and the desire to let the first team gel together. Impossible to do them all. Gigena, Kerr, Leatigaga, Spencer, Wells, Liebenberg, Reffell, Boladau, Simmons, Reid, Aspland-Robinson, Viljoen, Taute, Thomps...

Pleasantly surprised. When I saw the team sheets I wasn't to confident, I'm glad that they proved me wrong! :smt026

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

Not to much to add to what has been said already. But a good hard fought battling in. Something we've not said much in a long time. I thought Owolofela had probably his best game before he limped off. Eastmond and Forsyth were good. Liebenberg was solid and our lineout was faultless I believe. Above...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

If refs start picking up on Exeter’s constantly blocking tactics, they could be in trouble....yes I know that would require refs to apply the laws That would be nice. Although to be fair we have gotten away with some things, like our 3rd try should of been disallowed for not releasing the ball. I d...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

That's a lot stronger side than last week. especially the forwards. I doubt it's far off what we can expect from our first league match of the season. I hope that we see Viljoen, Taute, Leatigaga and Simmons playing the next two matches. Has Forsyth rejoined the club? I thought we released him years...

Prem Rugby Cup is at the start of the season and then the Prem starts after,
Surely the players not involved in the World Cup will need to gain match fitness before the Prem Rugby Cup?

So would his job to oversee day to day running of the club, on the rugby side or as a whole?

Re: Weekend match thread - 24-26th May

Cobus Reinach really messed up dropping the ball when in on goal.

Saints would of gone in at half time leading.

Saints have done really well though

Re: Tigers vs Bath

This is a good game to watch.

Having been skeptical of the team selection, so far I have been quite impressed by those leaving, like O'Connor and Fitz who are playing well.
