Yes, it was still Scott in the centre. Walsh did his best to emulate Damian McKenzie with one break! When Kini came on, we were basically playing with 7 forwards and an extra back in open play - it might catch on!

My son tells me that Anthony Watson has been doing rehab/sprint training at Loughborough Uni - on our doorstep.

Gengey in his post-match interview:
'Calum Green, his knee is absolutely shattered and he grafted for 60 minutes with no cartilage in his knee. Julian Montoya, his MCL is dust.'

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

I have never seen Twickenham so dominated by one team's fans and It was the best experience I've had there by a distance. It seemed like 3/4 of us were Tigers supporters and it was amazing to be part of an incredible energy which seemed to have taken over the stadium. You could see just how many we ...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Apparently, we're in for a heat wave this week, but the forecast for Saturday afternoon says we will be playing in the rain. Might spoil our day out, but might not do our match chances any harm at all.

Nic Dolly posted on Instagram this afternoon from his hospital bed, ‘Surgery done. Ready to work. Stay tuned.’ Good to see a big smile and a thumbs up.

Wasps scrum was destroyed by Sale and it won't be any better now that Stooke is out. They are a dangerous team, but it's hard to win games when your set piece is a disaster.

For those who missed it, Tom Youngs ended his thank you speech on the pitch after the game with, 'Hopefully, we get Saints here in the semis and :censored: them up!' :smt018 :smt044

On the other hand, having not featured on Tuesday and now missing again, I think Dolly is probably out with the injury he sustained in the Clermont game.

Re: Local recommendations

Some very good recommendations, but Shivali has recently closed. The veggie brother of Kayal, Herb (nearer to the centre and on the other side of the road) is really excellent. I can certainly confirm that Mowgli is brilliant for all tastes.

Harry Wells moved to eight for 'defensive' scrums - when we were trying to drive Falcons off their ball with an 8 man shove - presumably because he could push harder! George Martin was there the rest of the time.
