Re: Bodies through the turnstiles?

Attendance, not tickets sold, was given as 18165 in the match report on the website, so only 6500 ish not there apparently. Looking at some of the images online there were great swathes of empty seats in the old Clubhouse end though.

Re: Tigers vs Racing

This team selection is lunacy. Europe is gone. This team won't be playing next week in the Anglo Welsh, so why risk the first team?

Re: Tigers vs Racing

Europe is gone. Field the same team as at Castres again, get the AWC out the way and then concentrate on getting a win at Glaws

Re: Attendance for next weekend v Racing

We're away next weekend and as I doubt my tickets would sell if I made them available to the club I have given them to a friend and his son with our apologies. Sunday 1pm kick off, on TV, nothing to play for, I think there'll be less than 18000 there even with the club giving away free tickets. It w...

Re: Castres vs Tigers

Sorry, Europe is gone. Send the Anglo Welsh team this week and next. Priority now has to be winning eight of the remaining nine League games and picking up bonus points so we finish in the top 4 in the AP. As we don't do transition seasons (copyright Simon Cohen) we must be in the playoffs again for...

Season over?

So we've lost six games in the trot for the first time since the 60's. We're out of Europe. To finish in the top four you need mid 60's points (Bath are the lowest recent memory in 2010 with 61) and we have 28. Anyone think we have a chance of winning anything meaningful this season?

Unsafe website warning

Just tried to access leicestertigers.com and my work PC brought a warning that this was an unsafe website due to potential for malicious content. I continued anyway and haven't encountered a problem. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Matt Smiths disallowed try

I watched the replays on the big screen and I thought the ball came off his knee/thigh and he then grounded it with downward pressure from his arm so for me a try. Just goes to show how hard it is. No replays/tmo and I'd definitely have given it as a try Exactly. Perfectly good try to me, but given...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

Heard last night that Jono Kitto is back from loan at the Warriors, but is off back to New Zealand and not staying at Tigers. Pity. I felt his delivery from rucks and scrums was far quicker than any of the Tigers scrum halves, but plainly his face no longer fits.

Re: Wasps

Wasps weren't exactly helped by Ian Tempest only seeing the third of three very obvious forward passes which happened to be for Bassett's try! Thought the officials were collectively very poor yesterday.

Re: Dai Young complaining about players' wage demands

It's just like football. The money coming in goes up and average players demand more simply because they know there is more available. Let's assume a squad of forty players, two exempt from the cap as marque players, and you're paying up to the cap, so the average/year is just over £184K. Then consi...

Double jeopardy - penalty try and sin binning

I'm tired of the double jeopardy that sometimes surrounds penalty tries, Telusa Veaniu's sin binning after it on Saturday being a case in point. So an offence has been committed that prevented a try, by all means give the penalty try, but surely at that point the team has been penalised sufficiently...
