Re: Ben Youngs
I've been having a twitter conversation with another Barf man - David Flatman. He starts by extolling YBY's performance but quickly leaps to the defence of his blue, blue and white chum!... Flats "Ben Youngs on form = carnage." Me "The sooner BT get all internationals, the better. Bar...

Re: Statue
I hope a memorial statue gets funded and this one is a fine piece of art. However, it's two tigers fighting each other, not sure symbolism is fitting for thought intended to provoke. :smt017 I think they're 'play-fighting'; their shadow forms a victory 'V' - and it's intended to bear a striking res...

Re: The old Harry Thacker debate
Having Cole and Ayerza as starting props allows you to get away with less powerful hookers. I really shouldn't enter this debate - I was one of the 'girls at the back' and never got close to the front row as an adult! However - if the opposing front row's intention is to drive a wedge between prop ...

Re: Statue
Proposed model looks excellent. I've emailed them to ask if one can choose which name to have etched on as a 'supporter'. I'd like my late father's name - an ex-Tiger (M) and WW2 fighter pilot who fortunately can't go on the 'in memoriam' part because he survived!

Re: Wasps report £3.8m losses and rising £43m debt
Are there no penalties for defaulting on the debt? I may be mistaken but I think the league has clauses to stop sides running up huge debts only to walk away from them. Of course it may well be that the debt is not held by the team directly although that should show in the books. I believe they can...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
According to BBC Leicestershire Local web page, Leicester Tigers scrum-half Sam Harrison believes his club teammates Ben Youngs and George Ford would be the right half-back combination for England. http://bbc.in/2eNaBNn Hmmm just a slip of the tongue by Shazam? Nice one - but I suspect it's a slip ...

Re: George Ford
My advice to Ford if he wants best chance to re-join Tigers is stay away from Kugas, Focus each Mondeo on the week ahead to maintain his Edge. There'll be time for Fiesta once he's Transit over to us. :smt011 Mustang we put up with this? We need to Explorer new avenues. Somebody Escort this contrib...
