Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Really disappointing so far. We may be clunky, but we've played as many as Glaws recently. I think only disappointing as the team on paper should be delivering more. But Gloucs IMHO have been far better than we would expect. I think we all expected a good win, but they have played well. Mercer has ...

Could be TBF - it has the hallmarks of something like that

Hoping that try gets us going

We just look undercooked, a yard off it physically and quality wise and a general lack of intensity

Heyes, Chessum (x2), FTT, Carnduff, Ilione, Whitcombe, Henderson, Reffell, Martin, Beets

That’s some long term forward quality around which you can build your wider squad

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Harhwrall, Rogerson, Hanro, Cracknall are all very similar players but Hanro is by far the best and most effective so has to play as much as possible. Playing 3 of them in the same team just doesn’t work IMO and we looked more balanced when Ilione came on and Cracknall also made a difference. Your ...

2 yellow cards and the non yellow/penalty try against the Glos 9 were the key moments in the end.

That said, if you don’t even try to play any rugby for 70mins then you get what you get and can’t complain

So we can pass it and put width on it - makes you wonder why we didn’t try to play any rugby at all for 70 mins

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

I agree - France will be looking to win in any way they can - it almost certainly won't be pretty and if Furbank is FB then they'll rain down kicks onto him and IFW (and look to kick in behind IFW to keep him turning back towards his own line) all game long. I think SB will know that and Steward wil...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Fair play to England - they found a level we’ve not seen since, well, god knows when! Maybe RWC semi final 2019 because even the recent RWC was anti rugby up to a point. If they can build from this and kick on then suddenly things will look pretty positive. If Martin and Chessum can stay fit we’ll h...
