Re: ANY SPECIAL MEMORIES?
Hipkiss Vs Saracens. I'm sure that one's fixed in all our minds. What a finish when a win seemed beyond us. https://youtu.be/SLaZbXoQkLE Just played it... I remember also looking on & thinking "where the hell did Dan come from?!" - & that line out steal by Parling. I floated home ...

Re: ANY SPECIAL MEMORIES?
- Tigers 22 Boks 17. To think I nearly didn't go... - Tigers putting 5 tries past Sale to win with 14 men for an hour after Jules decked Sheridan (who got off scot free for his niggling). Almost as much noise as the Boks game. - Geordie's outrageous dropped goal from inside his half. 36 near flatten...

Re: Time for us all to really back Geordan
I have doubts about GFs appointment, but I wish him well, and will back him all the way, unless we end up relegated, which hopefully we shall avoid. Next season will be the yardstick by which to really measure him, on the assumption that we are still a Premiership side, I agree. Our decline took ti...

BoD
There's been calls on this forum for a clear out of Tigers' BoD (with some justification). But who makes the decision on sackings? I don't think the turkeys will vote for Xmas.

Re: Murphy appointed head coach
I'd argue this is the best thing the BoD could do right now. There's an old military saying: good leadership is the art of making a quick decision. So much the better if it's the right one, but just making the decision is key. I completely disagree, the BoD making quick knee jerk decisions is preci...

Re: Time for us all to really back Geordan
Pleased for Murphy. Now, let us fans who as usual will be at Welford Road v Quins, get right behind the team. And the players: if you don’t play now with pride and for a bloke who is Tigers to the core then we don’t need you. Well done The Board but this is only the start. Go and look at Sarries an...

Re: Murphy appointed head coach
Is Geordie the right person to lead the coaching team? I don't know, time will tell. What I know is what I hear: confidence is rock bottom, Geordie himself after the Racing game said pretty much that, IIRC. How many hands have been on the coaching handle in the past few years? I've honestly lost cou...

Re: Telegraph article - Cole
Stuart Barnes in the Sunday Times made a similar accusation of Cole ... but what does one expect from Barnes?
He was trying to sound sympathetic to Tigers' lot (which is creepy enough), but you knew he was gloating ... which I can probably live with.

Re: If you support a club.....
I don't post here often but, following the Bristol game, thought I'd throw in my threeha'pence, for what it's worth. I live in Oxfordshire. Coming to Welford Rd is a 180mi round trip. Now retired, I have to pay for that diesel. Why don't I support Chinnor, a mile away & doing rather well? Becaus...

Re: Where were you?
My wife spent 30 years of our married life studiously ignoring all things rugby until I retired 3 years ago, at which point she thought it would be nice to join me and get a season ticket herself; and it is nice....honestly. She is soooo keen even to the point of watching whichever match is on BT T...

Re: amazing interview with Tiffany and Tom
Thanks for sharing this Trendy. I see Tiffany is fundraising for the cancer charity Bloodwise (link in article to fundraising page). Come on forum users you know what to do. :smt038 :smt038 :smt038 If we petition the club, might they allow a fundraising / tin shaking day for Bloodwise at a home gam...

Re: Bath Stadium
I don't think anyone could call Welford Rd attractive, nor the plank seating in the Crumbie remotely comfy. The stewards we encounter are all friendly though & the facilities are ok... ish. But it's OURS. The home of the team we support & we share it with no one. It's about the right size, t...

Re: Bath Stadium
Looking on the Bath website I see they have released details and plans for their new stadium, looks very impressive, hope they get planning permission as Bath is a great place to visit and would be good to watch games in a decent stadium other than the Rec. I hope there's a bit more of the seating ...
