Re: New coaching set up
I would cancel my season ticket if Lancaster came here as DOR, face it he’s not doing an awful lot at Leinster and I’m not having the man who almost ruined English Rugby come here and let’s not forget about his inconsistent selections as well. I think Lancaster would be great for tigers. Leinster a...

Re: Have we just fallen foul of the worst tmo ever made?
I coudnt really tell what was going on and I can't bring myself to try and rewatch it but regardless we let Newcastle off the hook massively they looked finished and were there for the taking after we went 10 points up. If you can't comfortably beat the likes of Worcester, saints, bath and Newcastle...

Rugby Paper saying Mafi to make his decision today also says his decision could mean Mike Williams will be surplus to requriements and is attracting attention from 2 Prem Clubs, Not sure who they might be. So looking like recruitment wise currently Cortes for Logo Stevens for McGugian Mahoney for T...

Re: How long before the whole England team is from the Southern Hemisphere?
I suspect he only wants to play for England because of the money involved (like a few others) and he is in no way English IMO. I'm finding it harder to associate with this England team due to the ever increasing lack of English people involved, nothing really that can be done about it but I think i...

Really sad news. Hopefully his injury won't have to bad an effect on him in the future!

Re: Logo
Could we be planning to switch Bateman to TH and use Gigena as the back up LH? If that were to happen, that would leave us... LH - Genge, Gigena, Rizzo? TH - Cole, Bateman, Cilliers? Not really enough when you factor in Cole and most likely Genge will be with England during international periods. R...

Re: Logo
Am I missing something with Gigena? He has played 1 or 2 AW games did ok and not looked like featuring otherwise? What's the basis for him being considered likely to be a big part of the squad next year?
I'd be sad to see LM go, still offers an awful lot for me.

Re: Christian Wade
I wouldnt welcome that signing tbh. He's rapid and will score tries but bes very one dimensional and I think the money could be better spent elsewhere. The fact that we were struggling to score tries earlier in the season wasn't down to the quality of our wingers.

Re: Tigers v Wasps Sunday March 25th
I thought Wasps were struggling with injuries? That still looks like a pretty decent side to me. Maybe the bench is a weakness but the starting XV look like they could cause a few problems. Wasps only have to have about 3 players out before everyone starts saying they are having an injury crisis. W...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!
Hardly a surprise is it. Our back 5 has been under par for most of this season and many of us have been calling for change. We can’t really be up in arms when it comes. We get in a Head Coach with a brief to turn things round, we get a proper forwards coach, and churn begins. Why would anyone compl...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!
Was Gigena signed as a player for the future? Or just in case of an injury crisis? I know very little about the bloke, but it seems a bit odd that he's only featured in the odd AW game and seems to be behind Traynor in the pecking order!
