Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

My error then as I thought and it was reported at the time that the verdict was not proven, which is available in some parts of the uk Not proven is only a verdict in Scotland. Thank you again my error, I blame my age, also don’t believe anything on Twitter You are not alone RG, I don't even entert...

I wouldn't call a sketchy acquittal 'just ancient history'. In terms of the fact that it was a few years ago now. I agree totally about the verdict should have been trialled in England It was held in Belfast under UK law. Full article from Conor Gallagher in The Irish Times: https://www.irishtimes....

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

Losing one of the young leading lights would be interesting to see how the RFU handle the overseas selection issue. Borthwick is, according to an article from a while back, in favour of players being able to play overseas and still play for England M Smith out and F Smith in. Or P Jackson. Putting ...

Re: Exiles set for Exile?

Sad to see the demise of LI, I did like their style of play. Pearson, Creevy, Jackson standout players. The staff etc must be gutted. So the Prem get their 10 teams, solves that problem.

Re: Tigers Coaching Team - 2023/2024 Season

Yes I agree with the positive vibes:good balance of experience both internationally and domestically. It seems EJ has entrusted Dan Palmer to the lineout for the Wallabies for the WC, which will be interesting... I am both pleased and disappointed Brett Deacon is an assistant coach. Pleased that we...

Re: Andrea Pinchen Interview

Thanks for this, Cagey. I agree - she comes across very well. She is an excellent asset to the club. Until the RFU come calling... In that case, then there would be finally somebody sensible in the RFU, who could make a huge difference to the game as a whole. This would not be SUCH a bad thing! Wha...

Jaco finally gets stuff right and understands what offside really means. I lost count how many times Leinster were offside.

Neutral on this game, Still get the twitches when thinking of Charlie Hodgeson kicking the Tiger to death in 2006. A bad day all round, surrounded by a bunch of clueless Hooray Henries, one of which asked me "who is in goal to day." I told them Wembley was just up the road in a sort of pot...

Re: Play Off Semi-final - Sale - 14th May 2023 - KO 3-00pm

Woke up this morning in Seattle to read about the loss. Gutted but IMO it sums up the Tigers season on the whole. Fragmented in parts by the periods of inconsistency and then the seismic shift in management. RW has done well with his time at the helm. DM now under pressure to bring consistency and m...

Re: Ellis Genge cited

Doesn't seem to me to be a happy bunny. Certainly not playing his best stuff al all. He needs to come back to WR where we can look after him. As said to him on his departure, "You're a Tiger". Maybe that crosses his mind now and again.
