Matt Dawson dancing

have just watched him.
He was fantastic. real 'tango' attitude. and personally I think it's great for rugby that we have people who come over so well on the media.

on a slightly different tack - I thought the reason we were Tigers was because of the Leicestershire Regiment and its history in Hindustan. In India. But the new mascot is, I think, a Siberian tiger. Is this an Abramovitch-style take-over?

yes, I know. I promise to get out more.

well, you never know. he may turn out to be good. like the idea of his 'masterminding strategy and selection'. and at least he comes for the club scene and should at least have greater understanding of the needs of the clubs who supply the international players and pay their salaries. I'm willing to...

great response, Stevet! love it.

10.8 on the grass - not sure what that would be on the track, with starting blocks but he must be up there with our so called athletes. perhaps he should take them on - bag himself an Olympic track and field medal.

couldn't agree more. if you wanted someone in your corner, Lewis's name would be first on the list. huge commitment, allied with great skill. terrific player and we are really lucky to have him at Tigers. truly one who shook the Crumbie.

Tom V's speed

have just watched the 100m in the European athletics and wonder what Tom's speed is over 100m. I'm sure I've seen the figure somewhere. we all know he's fast but how fast? and I reckon he could string two sentences of good English together in an interview as well.

I can just about hack losing our players to England (just about) but what really bugs me is this. if a player only plays 20 minutes or less for England, he can turn out for his club the next day. how often last season did Dayglo, for example, come on as a sub for England on the Saturday then turn ou...
