Fitness has gone

One thing I will say, Finn Carnduff has had a great game. Hit hard in defence, counter rucked well, strong in the lineout. Very strong debut start in the prem.

This. Tale of our season. You just cannot expect to compete and win games when you are doing yourself out of advantage with discipline

Unlikely to get into top 4 so for the rest of the season we have to try and develop the attack ahead of the next season.

If we can stay in the fight in games and develop some attack then it won’t have been too much of a season wasted

Can’t help thinking the lost points from the two try attempts butchered by Shilcock are going to cost us once Saints unload their bench. Don’t understand why we simply don’t play Steward at full back!!! On a positive note, Kata and Kelly are working really well together and Chessum has been immense...

If we can cut out our penalties we are frustrating them and can capitalise. Need the bench to step up as Freeman and Smith will boost their decision making and impetus in the second half.

If we can keep it tight and niggly we can come out of this with some needed points
