Re: Team for Bath
Been in Bath for 2 days now - lovely city. Happy with the squad picked. Looking forward to seeing how the youngsters go. Will aim to be well fortified with red wine followed by a few pints before, during and after the game. If we win with this team it would be wonderful but if we loose then excuses ...

Re: Rob Andrew to leave post!
Clearly Bill W is now in a place of influence and has managed to achieve one of his greatest wishes for England Rugby that is to see Randrew gone. Great news and an improvement even if replaced by a stuffed dog. Hopefully Nigel will do better than that

Re: Team for Bath
Kpj, I would be a bit disappointed if your team proves correct and I think a few others would be! Particularly if like us you have travelled to Bath for the match. Last year when we were here we got stuffed and really don't want the same again. Our Bath friends will feel their season has finished o...

Re: Bath v Tigers 7th May
Already booked accommodation for Bath w/e as bank holiday it may sell out quickly.
Never had a problem with Bath fans after going down there every year for recent matches. We did have one idiot in the crowd who got a bit excited when they were stuffing us but what club does not have a few of those?

How many times have we had a thread of over 100 posts with no arguments or wind-ups. Bill would have been impressed.

Re: Bill W RIP
Would it be possible for one who knew him well, like the OP, to email Gary Sherrard about a mention on matchday. I don't know where he actually sat, so if it could be labelled or somesuch, flowers could be left there? I don't know, jsut feel that members like him (and Noddy etc) deserve recognition...

Re: Bill W RIP
The passing of a friend The Boss and I first met Bill in Durban on the first night of the 2009 Lions tour hosted by Tigers. During our 2.5 weeks in South Africa with a few days at Vic Falls in Zambia, about ten of us formed a group that spent considerable time drinking, eating and talking together....

Bill W RIP
A huge shock to us and I know it is not a rugby matter but I am sure you would all like to know that Bill W passed away on Friday. He will be sorely missed by family, friends, Tigers community and on this forum. Please raise a glass to Bill when you next have a bottle to hand.
Bill RIP

Re: Gouging
It is endemic and I the ref does not spot it then the TMO should tell him and it should be sorted out with cards at the time not citings after that even with bans may not effect future European games.
