Re: Only 2 Tigers in England 23

I'd agree with Evans. I also think Dom Barrow will play for them as well. Although he may have to wait a while as England have very good second rows. It is possible Roberts could get called up for Wales. Roberts won't be called up whilst Gatland is in charge, too small for his game plan. Also Rober...

Re: Only 2 Tigers in England 23

Wormus I and many others can remember a time when there were 9 or 10 players in the squad and 6 or 7 certain to start, so 2 looks a bit miserly. I think a bigger issue is where are the next internationals? As and when Coles and Ben Youngs move out of international contention, apart from Ellis Genge...

Re: Cockerill to be Toulon's new DOR?

Yes a large clapped out coach which was followed by a small car was stopped for going too slow, and police discovered that both vehicles were full of French comics which included an article by a weird slap head who claimed to be the new messiah. I imagined you to have a full head of hair though! :s...

Re: Maxime Mermoz (centre, Toulon) close to join Leicester

On his Twitter account lots of retweets of the video with the comment 'his last game' and a tweet thanking fans for last four years etc.

So on his way methinks.

Re: Tigers v Saints AWC Saturday 28th Jan.

Agreed Noddy- important to enter in to the spirit of the cup. Thought this weekend might be a good week to give a bit of game time to Jordan Crane though - disappointed not to see him get 80mins under his belt. Think he could really add some grunt in this East Midlands derby. Obviously some sort of...

Re: Maxime Mermoz (centre, Toulon) close to join Leicester

Can't get too stressed, will probably get a season ending injury first game, (I do really hope not!) that is about par for the course for our expensive back line. I am normally a positive person unlike many on this forum, but am struggling to drag out of this malaise. I will be there Saturday, god o...

Re: Youngs brothers

It does make you wonder what is going on with them, and how involved they are with recent goings on. I seem to remember that there was a game before Christmas where neither appeared in the match day squad without any apparent explanation. I'm fairly sure that Cole has recently joined the extended f...

Congratulations to Mike Williams, named in the England squad for the Six Nations. ...and let's not forget to congratulate Dan, Ellis and Ben! :smt038 Yeh for a minute I got my hopes up that we got to keep them. After last night's debacle, they can stay as long as they want apart from Genge, he is t...

The Glasgow team are also a good slice of the Scottish team.

I feel a bit numb at the moment, I hope it's the wine, but depressingly I don't think it is. Can we stop the season now and skip to the next one!

Re: Racing 92 v Tigers Saturday 14th @ 20:45

This is probably now a fixture fulfilment process, the chance of progressing is so slight and dependant on other results. The home Glasgow game is more significant, home pride and some payback for the Scotstown mullering! A win in France would be nice, but not really too concerned, be interesting to...
