Re: LV cup v London Irish
Was sat in the CAT stand for the first time and loved it, I thought Balmain and Slater were great, Ford, Bowden, Tait, Noone, Hawkins and both wingers get mentions too. Boris's red card was absolute nonsense along with most of the refs decisions today, All in all a good day at Fortress Welford Road ...

England....... Where to begin
Today's performance was an embarrassment, although not as bad as the touch judges. There are a multitude of issues in my opinion but these are the ones that stick out for me. 1. The lack of a Decent 7, Robshaw just doesn't cut it for me, he was good in the 6 nations last year and OK against SA in th...

Maybe he is being saved for AP games??Soggypitch wrote:I'm surprised notto see Thompstone in the team, he's done well so far at Tigers with little opportunity.

Re: Jonathan Joseph
We have at present probably the slowest back line in the Premiership... And we havent had a really quick speedster--------excepting BY---since Varndell A couple of really fast backs to unleash all the technique and potential is what we need.. Watson looks very promising !! Matt Smith, Adam Thompest...

Re: jordan crane is he the player he was?
Jordan Crane was far from average before his injury IMO, Ive always been a Crane fan so i may be bias but his commitment to this team has been top notch, i remember watching the 2011 Premiership final vs Sarries and watching Jordan being the player that put his hand up every time when we were on the...

Re: Any changes for Saturday
As many of said it depends how SL wants to play, if we want to front up i think Corbs & Wood will start, if he decides to play them at running rugby then i expect Marler and Johnson to stay and maybe JJ on the bench

Re: Any changes for Saturday
We'll need a more dynamic back row with Pocock around so Woods needs to start at 7 with Robshaw switching to 6 and bring in Morgan at 8. As for the backs then I'd start Youngs, replace Moyne with Ashton which just leaves Barritt as the problem. This is not the game to trial Manu at 12. Just read th...

Re: Any changes for Saturday
I believe they are trialing 23 man teams in internationals now, this is where my mistake arose as the team from last week was listed as a 22 not 23 with David Wilson so i will swap out Brown for Wilson
